DO NOT BUY MAVRIX — LITERALLY ONE OF THE WORST BIKE GAMES I’VE PLAYED Seriously, save your money. I bought Mavrix because I wanted a realistic bike game, but what I got was an absolute mess. The controls are weird, unintuitive, and somehow different in basically every way imaginable. Even the tutorial feels like a chore, and apparently only 20% of players have even finished it. That should tell you something. And the performance? HORRIBLE. I have 32 GB of RAM and an RTX 5070 Ti, and I’m playing on the lowest graphics settings possible, yet the game still lags every two seconds. It genuinely feels like I’m watching a 1900s movie at 2 frames per second. How is this acceptable? I bought this game for the realism, and the biggest thing I got was a button that lets you do a whip. You can’t even properly hold or control a whip — you press the button, do the whip, and then have to do another one because apparently the timing ran out. It feels less like realistic biking and more like pressing random buttons and hoping something happens. And then there’s the price. $40?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I’ve played Riders Republic and Descenders on PS5, and both of them are WAYYYYY better than this. They actually feel fun, responsive, and worth playing. If you’re thinking about buying Mavrix, PLEASE DON’T. Save your $40 and buy Descenders instead. You’ll have a much better time. 0/10 from me. Avoid this game.

DEVS, PLEASE LISTEN AND READ Okay, I can’t lie. When I first played this game, I hated it. The controls were not intuitive at all, the physics felt weird, and overall, it felt like a waste of $40. That was a year ago, when it was still in pre-release. Now, the game is highkey amazing. The controls do take a lot of time to get used to, but I love them. The physics feel really nice now. One of the only things I dislike is that the tricks aren’t fully manual. I used to be a game dev, and it’s not hard. Just make it so the more you turn the joystick, the more the flips and tabletops rotate, instead of them just going full speed immediately. Also, the performance issues are fixed in 15.1. The game just feels nice THANK YOU.

I had hopes when I bought this game because I thought that it was a "good MTB GAME" but its not. Its not realisticc and it is like riders rebublic so an arcade game and not and realistic game

I played a lot of Descenders in first person and thought a pro mountain biker would make a good feeling MTB game. This game is so stiff and rigid, you don't feel like you are riding a bike you are just roughly moving a character through the world but not really controlling anything. After Descenders I played Cranked that's in development and is physics based no canned animations so I'm used to actually controlling the bike and rider, this game is all animations. The controls aren't intuitive and this just isn't for me. I had to refund after a half hour and already experienced four bugs stopping the tutorial from finishing. Also I have a 9800x3d and 4070ti super but maxed out at 1440p it can't maintain 60 fps. I can't recommend this game to anyone.

the game is good but i see tha tlater sadly this game needs you too by online 100% soo no singelplayer..thats for my a no go sadly,,thats why i dont recommend this game because you msut by online and no singelplayer..otherwise i would like it.

From a MountainBiker myslef i would reccomend this game because of how realistics and good the graphics are unlike any other game. Tricks look identical and steezy like actuall Mountain Biking.

MAVRIX is a really cool bicycle game with a lot of potential At the moment, though, it's just not quite there. The game looks beautiful, and it's really cool to have a game in a genre which isn't often catered for. So I'm really excited about this. I'm going to start with the negatives, though, because I feel like some of these might be deal breakers, and then I'll get on to the things I liked. The first annoyance is that this game requires you to be online at all times. Just for me, that's not acceptable in a game that, by all accounts, should have a standalone single-player mode. It's very close to being a deal breaker for me. The second annoyance, which is also really frustrating, is that every time I load the game, it reloads the shaders. That just adds a frustrating additional waiting time before I can actually get in and play. Then, obviously, it's still early days, but the lack of customisation with the controls is really frustrating. But the biggest issue with the game, I feel, is that the handling is just not there. The trick controls are very on-off. The handling doesn't feel very natural, and this just needs a lot of work. A game like Descenders, even though it's far more arcadey, seems to have more realistic controls in many regards. I really feel like that needs to be sorted out before this game has earned its place as the de facto mountain-bike game. But apart from that, it really is beautiful. The environment has been really well crafted, and I've found that it runs pretty well. It's fairly well optimised for a small indie game, especially considering how good it looks. You can also enjoy the game without having to purchase stuff, although there is a monetisation aspect to it. I guess that's fair enough at the price you pay for the base game. I feel like it's a reasonable monetisation method. You're not locked into buying stuff, but it's there if you want it. Overall, I really hope this game improves, because there's a lot to like here. It's a beautiful game in a genre that doesn't get nearly enough attention, and I think it has the potential to be something really special. It's just not quite there yet.

its a bit hard in the biggining but as soon as you learn the controls and some of the basics it becomes a very great game
