I am an avid Nancy Drew player. Played a lot of them as a kid and have been working through the collection on steam now in my adulthood. This is the first game I have not bothered to finish. I was just so, so bored throughout the game. I could not get into any level of immersion with this. The puzzles felt tedious and the locations felt random and disconnected. Even in other games with a lot of locations/travel (like shadow ranch) there are places to stop and explore, and riding the horses and exploring the trails/collecting artifacts made the travel still feel connected to the game. With this game, it feels like you are constantly hopping on metro rides to go to a location to find one small clue that then leads you to another clue at another location. Felt more like a glorified scavenger hunt than a Nancy Drew game with a cohesive story and mystery to solve. I'd say unless you played this as a kid and are looking to beat a game you never did back then or are playing for the nostalgia, you can probably skip this one.
