I love NASCAR, I believed in iRacing. If you bought NASCAR 25, do NOT buy this game. It is the EXACT same game as NASCAR 25. They have made it clear that they don't intend to improve the game or build on it, just milk people for $60 every single year until it dries up like Madden. Massive disappointment. The similarities even come down to the sound effects, the voices, the AI tendencies. They did NOTHING to make this seem like a new game. This is a total scam.

Looks better, yet persists many of the same issues from the previous title. AI still has bad pit road logic. Better on restarts beyond anything the player can do. Gearing is also poor and you hit the rev limiter far too easily. Sidedraft was advertised but I've yet to see it actually be in effect. Just a lazy rerelease of an already flawed game. iRacing should be ashamed of themselves. Also at the time of writing this the first dlc doesnt even work, just to salt the wound. I'd save my money, maybe a few years down the road there will be a good career game but don't reward them for releasing such half baked products.

Big leap over NASCAR 25. Graphics are phenomenal and my triple monitors work just fine. The FFB is also great and much better than 25 on my Simucube 3 Pro & all controls bind perfectly on my DSD Dashboards. The AI is good and challenging. The dynamic tracks are awesome. I hope they will patch in Data out support for Simhub but i doubt it . Overall it's the best Nascar game release to date. I love that they included Tony Stewart in the game.

Every part is improved from 25. It's not a huge leap. It's not groundbreaking. But everything is better and it's superior to the previous game in just about every way.

OK, It looks to me like its a major graphics overhaul than anything over NASCAR 25. Really wish there was a way to adjust the FOV for cockpit drivers. And a UDP out for Data Capture for PC users that use things like simhub. Good: Menu is easy and intuitive. Graphics look good, just wish i could adjust the FOV. Looks like a lot of content to delve into. Crossplay is a big plus. Bad: No FOV Adjustment, No Triple Screen Support, No Data Capture for PC users that use SimHub. I will Continue to update this as I go.

The same issues from Nascar 25 remain, and in some cases much worse. This is basically a madden 25 to 26 update with some slight lighting and skybox tweaks and the new roster. -The AI is just terrible. Forza motorsport levels of bad. They do not leave their line, no matter what. You could be on the inside of them and they will legit run you off the track onto the apron. It was no where near this bad in 25. - Terrible shadow flickering issues in replays. -No DLSS, No HDR, the most basic of PC ports. It was more forgivable last year, but this year it's just laziness.

While I wanted to love NASCAR 26, it just didn't meet expectations. The dirt system feels unrealistic, trackwear isn't progressive, and the AI and handling feel off. I miss a true career progression, hot seats, rivalries, and team opportunities like Heat 4. The skill point system didn't engage me and I'd rather work up with real teams like Penske or Gibbs. Plus the. And car feel need improvement. I hope future titles get back on track. The damaged system leaves much to be desired as well. I feel like a little tap shouldn't cave in my radiator after slight contact. I would like to see car scratches and bottoming out on the car with sparks flying out from under the roll cage and chassis. I would like to see paint being wiped on the walls after a car makes contact with the wall and I do not like that drivers have a set skill set. I would rather have an adaptive AI that learns.

Appreciate that this years entry works on Steam Deck in SteamOS and is very playable. Not the prettiest on low settings, but with frame limiting to 30 FPS it runs smooth even at demanding tracks like St. Pete. Can bump up the texture quality a bit from low to make it a bit more appealing without any frame loss. Thanks Dale Jr and Jerky Boys for the ARCA ride!
