Charming game. I love it. The puzzle and the Ball levels were a bit overused and they got boring very quickly. Otherwise a fun game with pretty visuals. Please make a sequel and if you do please make it a proper collectathon 3D platformer. Lucky is very cute and i am a sucker for 3D platformers so I would love to see more of him in more games.

Нехорошие котики ведут себя плохо и всех пугают, поэтому наш добрый лисёнок должен их остановить. Чудесная игра для дошколят и тех, кто хочет просто расслабиться и получить удовольствие от собирания монеток, листочков и абсолютно ненапряжного закрывания локаций на 100%. ➕ Визуал. Яркая милота 3D-платформеров, очень напоминающая игры от Nintendo. ➕ Сложность. Её почти что нет. Можно потерять сердечко, если на что-то отвлечься, но даже если потерять все сердечки, то есть одну жизнь, то в запасе ещё много, очень много жизней, которые легко восполняются от собирания монеток. ➕ Разнообразие уровней: раннеры, головоломки, сражения, лабиринты и т. п. ➕ Сюжет, персонажи, диалоги, шутки — всё соответствует возрастному рейтингу 0+, но при этом остаётся интересным и запоминающимся. Червяки-фермеры, чей акцент и стиль жизни буквально кричат о Техасе; живущие в пустыне миролюбивые рестлеры-йети; пугающиеся всего и вся привидения — персонажей много, и общения с ними тоже. ➕ Музыкальное сопровождение — мной куплен саундтрек. Жаль только, что в нём не оказалось качающих треков Леди М. Зато есть кантри от Soggy Boggy Boys. Вселенная запала в сердечко, и я очень жду вторую часть. Лаки ведь прошёл Испытания и стал Хранителем, так что впереди у него будет ещё очень много приключений! Финальная сцена это подтверждает 😉

Warmherziger, fordernder 3D, 2D Plattformer der seinesgleichen sucht. Einsteigerfreundlich. Leicht zu erlernende doch schwierig zu meisternde Steuerung. Historische, außergewöhnliche und doch sehr einprägsame, emotionale, liebenswerte Charaktere. Einfache doch tiefgründige Handlung. Ganz klare Empfehlung für Freunde der alten Schule für Jump'n Run's / Plattformer :3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A heartwarming, challenging 3D and 2D Platformer that’s in a league of its own. Beginner-friendly. Controls that are easy to learn, but difficult to master. Historical, extraordinary, yet very memorable, emotional, and endearing Characters. A simple yet profound Storyline. Awesome Music (Example Lady Meowmalade's Boss Theme) A definite must-play for Fans of old-school Jump ’n’ Run Games / Platformers :3

Just so everyone is aware I played this game entirely on steam deck I absolutely adored this game. It was exactly what I needed when I was sick. I just wanted a nice simple collectathon and this scratched the itch. New Super Lucky's Tale is a story of, le gasp, a world on the cusp of apocolypse. Our big bad is trying to steal a mystical book that could make him destroy the world, gets stopped by the book exploding it's pages everywhere. Meanwhile our main character, Lucky, gets sucked into a wormhole away from all his allies and is left to clean up the whole mess. Fighting against the big bads minions in various world maps till ultimately fighting him. Collecting pages along the way to remake the book. It's ultimately a very very simple platformer. There's not a ton of special moves. You mostly just jump or dig underground. All the enemies are pretty simple to beat and figure out. The only one I had trouble with was the garlic enemy which I didn't realize I could pop up under from digging, and one in the Yeti levels that was the same way that I don't remember all that well. But mostly the game just didn't explore enough for me that popping up under some enemies would do damage. The bosses are just challenging enough to be considered bosses. Some definitely more than others. Most bosses I beat in 1-3 tries. The final boss was the most difficult. But! If you are seeking that extra challenge get through the game! There's an area that unlocks after you win that has completely new levels with new challenges and they are much more difficult compared to the main game. There's also souped up versions of some of the bosses. Top it off some of the achievements are their very own challenges. The last 3 I had to do were incredibly challenging. Of course that's part of the Guardian Trials DLC but I don't think there is even a way to get the game on steam WITHOUT the DLC? All the dialogue is pretty funny. The only real gripe I had when it came to characters was for the love of all things sane I HATED the fake language they gave the voice actors for some lines. It was so grating on my ears. There's also customization of Lucky but I'll be honest... I wasn't a fan of any of the options. They were all just kinda weird more than anything. The artwork is very cute and the sound design (other than the voices, not because of the voices themselves, but because of the fake language) is very good. On the steam deck it controlled really well. The controls were kinda wonky but I got used to them. Though if I remember right there wasn't a way to remap the controls? My major gripes came from 1) Achievement hunting and that was wishing that there was a way to skip cutscenes, both ending and starting ones. I got really....REALLY tired of the cutscene for the wrestling ring boss fight in the Guardian Trials. 2) That there doesn't seem to be a sequel but the game sets up for one? It's been 6 years... I don't know if the dev has abandoned this game or if one is in developement. But I hope that there is. Very enjoyable game. Even when the Guardian Trials pissed me off. 3) The price to play time ratio... Definitely get this game on sale. I beat the whole game, DLC included, and 100% the game in less than 19 hours. $30 is a lot for a game with not even 20 hours of gameplay. Keep in mind that a good chunk of that time was achievement hunting. But I'm also a decent platform player, not a precision platformer by any means, but I'm familiar with the genre. Someone who is less experienced may spend more time on it and feel like they got more bang for their buck. But this title is ultimately a very good game for times when you just want a simple platformer or for someone who is new to platformers. The learning curve isn't steep and it would be a good one for kids or adults that are just stepping into the genre. Check out my Curator Page

New Super Lucky's Tale (2020) é a versão aprimorada/remaster do jogo Super Lucky's Tale (2018) que por sua vez é a sequência do título Lucky's Tale (2016). O 1º jogo também está disponível na Steam, porém a franquia foi originalmente desenvolvido pra VR, e vendido incluso com o "Oculus Rift" (óculos de VR). Abaixo seguem observações: - Possui uma das melhores câmera entre jogos 3D de aventura; - Jogabilidade é surpreendentemente boa; - O jogo é dividido em 2 partes, 1ª parte termina ao derrotar o chefão no 5º capítulo, e a 2ª parte é o pós-game no capítulo 6. A única parte que pode dar algum trabalho são as 16 fases do capítulo Foxington no pós-game, o restante do jogo é relativamente fácil devido a excelente jogabilidade. - Infelizmente, o jogo é curtinho, campanha dura algo entre 8~10 horas (menos caso não queira fechar 100% dos colecionáveis); - Particularmente, não gostei do mini-game de bolinha de gude (marble minigame) porque o controle da bolinha é muito ruim, eles estão presentes no capítulo 2 e voltam no capítulo 6; Platina Algo entre 10~14 horas, não há conquistas perdíveis, e as mais difíceis são "O novo campeão" (não sofrer dano na fase Torce-torce) e "Criminoso Habilidoso" (derrotar Lady Meowmalade sem ser atingido). Conquistas de não receber dano são meio bugadas, e podem não entrar de primeira, no meu caso caíram apenas na 2 tentativa; Veredito Excelente título, pena que é curtinho, mas definitivamente o recomendo.
