This feels less like borderlands and more like a writers room desperately trying to make sure you know what the correct opinion is at all times, especially that fat ginger porky. The characters constantly come across as overly preachy and self righteous, with the dialogue pushing modern social commentary so hard that it's ridiculous

I received the game as a joke birthday gift. Out of spite, I accepted it, and played through to see if the horrors were true and if my body could handle it. The horrors are true, not a single choice matters. During the last episode, I got up and left it running. I took my dog out and got a taste of the sunshine. When I came back to the horrors, it was still running. Nothing was affected. I am in physical and mental pain, and I’ve sworn eternal torment to the person who gifted me this game. Please stay away from this if you value your sanity.

I loved Tales from the Borderlands so much I wanted to try this game out. While the game and controls played fine, I cannot stand the characters and writing of the game to continue playing. Such a disappointment...

Now New Tales of the Borderlands might not be good as a game, but it seems to be a good modern torture method. I've been playing games basically all my life on this planet and not once have I played a game as badly written as this absolute train wreck.

This is a barely recommended for me. Obviously spoilers: Pros: -Assasin bot and Tediore soldiers' writers are actually good and I wish they were the actual main characters. - I liked the overall style of the game, and customization choices. - More Borderlands - Mostly liked Fran, and tolerated Octavio... most of the time. - Tediore is not a bad antagonist Cons: - Anu is one of the most, maybe the most protoganist i disliked in my life. - Your choices do matter, but I don't think we get "Choose this option and play an entire different section at a different placeé kind of choices, it feels a bit railroady while having multiple endings which is odd. - I liked the first three episodes, hated the fourth while fifth was ok but tried my patience a lot. - Kinda character assassination of Rhys, though debatable since you could have played him as an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the game, so I won't mind that. - Fiona making an appearance when she does is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, either keep her away or actually put her in the game. - A plot that can be criticized if you care enough, and some cringy writing. - I thought Octavio's call a friend mechanic wouldn't be a single time use mechanic, shame about that. - Obviously can't be compared to first tales from borderlands game or any other previous telltale game to be fair.

Jakie to było złe. W ostatnim rozdziale moje zaangażowanie w wybór opcji był minimalny, tylko żeby popchnąć fabułę do przodu. Natomiast sama fabuła z rozdziału na rozdział coraz gorsza i coraz bardziej absurdalna.

I haven't beat this game, I've only gone 2 chapters in and this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a game. The animation looks like they hired real life stick figures to mocap everything, the dialogue is slow and drawn out, characters will sometimes just sit there with a weird expression on their face for like 5 seconds before doing anything, Rhys still has his moustache, the boring as ♥♥♥♥ characters that you play as somehow manage to defeat a vault monster via standing in one spot and having one of the others run around a rock while the vault monster just stands there doing pretty much nothing, the game is sometimes a little funny but everything else just drags it sooo far down. If I could refund this game I would. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME unless you get it via the pandoras box bundle in which I would recommend probably just avoiding it
