🦖 MESSY HISTORY? YES. A SCAM? ABSOLUTELY NOT. If you filter by negative reviews, you’ll see people throwing around the words "scam" or "grift." They point to the game's chaotic past, the name changes (Dino Beatdown, Dino Horde), and old controversies. But after spending time with this game, calling it a scam is just completely inaccurate. Here is why the haters are wrong and why this game deserves your support: [*]It Costs Pennies: For years, this game sat at $0.99. Even with a price increase to match its new development era, you are getting an entire co-op sandbox with jetpacks, dinosaurs, mechs, and tons of guns for less than a fast-food meal. A real scammer takes your money and disappears—these devs gave us a fully functional, highly entertaining game for pocket change. [*]They Didn't Abandon It, They Fixed It: Skeptics say the name changes were just to hide bad reviews. The reality? Every single rebrand came with massive, engine-level overhauls. Instead of ditching a rocky launch to start a new paid project, the developers stayed and continuously rebuilt the game from the ground up. [*]The New Era Updates are FREE: The absolute death blow to the "cash grab" argument is what the developers are doing right now. They are pushing major new updates, optimizations, and content overhauls—and if you already own the game, you get all of it for $0.00. They aren't forcing a paid sequel or locking content behind a battle pass. The Verdict: Is Orion: Prelude a flawless AAA masterpiece? No. Its history is wild and messy, just like its gameplay. But it is an incredibly fun, ultra-budget indie survivor that refuses to die. If you want a chaotic, dinosaur-hunting good time with your friends, ignore the old drama and buy it.

値段の割にはかなり楽しい。鯖は1,2個あるかないかだが、人いないときはソロでもプレイ可能(ボットも入る)。 徐々にアップグレードすると空飛びながら撃ちまくれるし爽快感もある。

It's a fun dino shooter which, as it seems, is getting a second wind in its sails with active development behind it. I enjoyed the game a lot and did 100% way back when. I will look into it again if more achievements are added. Still a good game.

I didn't really know what to expect when I got it but this game still shattered my expectations anyway! Not only is this game fun and SUPER replayable, but its archeivement list goes on for days, so once you are done with one thing you don't have to wait for the next! Super goofy and Fun 10/10

This game is basically what it would be like if you added dinosaurs to Halo. It's really fun with a group of friends, and at the time of review, the makers are working on a full overhaul of graphics and animations, in order to modernize the game! I got Orion back in 2012-ish when it was called Dino Beatdown, and even without as many hours compared to other games I've played, Orion remains a game I'll recommend to anyone that thinks they'll like it.

One of the best $0.99 games I've played. I can't see why people think it is a scam, I'd rather play this over the AAA titles. For a dollar you get all types of stuff, graphics are not terrible, a good range of dinosaurs from tiny to big, a decent amount of weapons/perks and vehicles. People really need to lower their expectations and stop thinking every game is or should be a AAA.

Game lies untouched in your library for well over a decade, just another relic from better days, to be forgotten. "Nah, I'd update it some more" - Devs probably "Also, here's a post with the plans and even though I'm changing the price you've got time to buy it on the cheap-cheap" If there was ever a time for a lesson in based.

Although this game was released over a decade ago as of writing, outside of the main menu and audio, it doesn't really feel like it. The learning curve isn't steep but don't get me wrong, this is a difficult game to master.
