This is genuinely such a great game, when I got into Peaks of Yore it initally frustrated me and I put it back down. But when I came back into it I got into the groove and it completely took my life, being the only thing I wanted to play. The different peaks all tend to have unique challenges and new hazards they introduce to really test you. The final climb of the base game is a genuine challenge of everything you've learned to that point and your endurance, that will fill you with an indescribable sense of joy and satisfaction upon beating it. It's a hard game sometimes, it can be cruel but it's never unfair. It will test you and reward you both in game and emotionally for completing it. The journey is tough but if you can surpass the learning curve I can garuntee you will love the game.

Very great game. The feeling of accomplishment you get when you reach the summit of a peak, small or big is just great. Good difficulty curve. Beautiful landscapes. Also level editor and workshop is definitely a plus.

Sweaty palm simulator. Jesus... mine are drenched. It's disgusting. The feeling of accomplishment when you get to the top is like nothing else. However though, seriously these palms are disgusting. The controller is absolutely drenched. I have never had a game do this to me. I have to go change my shirt.

I had seen some other people play it and wanted to give it a try for myself. It is a hard game, and it will make sure you know it. Although the first few mounds are difficult but manageable, by the end, I wanted to join my guy in falling off a mountain as I fell near the top of one of the last few in the game. This game will punish you like no other. It will take your soul and will rip it to shreds before it's done with you. I hate this game, and the game hates me. 10/10, still wanna play it, don't regret buying it.

PEAK of yore :) It's very fun, though certainly challenging, and would be rough for those who suffer from motion sickness. I strongly recommend this game.

It's okay for a while, but it's just grabbing the rock that's close to you. I appreciate people making all sorts of games, but this is pretty boring, sorry.

I promise you this is not a rage game. It's good. Movement has a learning curve but feels really nice once you get the hang of it and the level progression naturally guides you into upping your skill level. There is also a lot of content for the price. I would say the biggest praise I can give, that when you get to the last level, one that to an outside observer would seem like a rage level, it actually feels possible to beat it for a player who has gotten to that point.
