You know that excellent pilot episode of The Sopranos in which the family pool is home to a bunch of ducks? In this game, one special duck has a hat that makes her „fly“. Logically, I thought there must be an invisible wall in the game that doesn't allow clipping and keeps ducks contained to the area. But it doesn't, and I've watched that duck ascend and leave the Infinity Pool. The duck landed in the ocean nearby, and airborne by airborne, I saw the duck disappear into infinity, a blue nothingness. I could no longer select or see that duck. And now I know why Tony Soprano felt like he did.

Placid Plastic Duck Simulator Game Review I wouldn’t even call Placid Plastic Duck Simulator a game. It’s more like an interactive wallpaper with ducks. There’s no real objective, no story, no combat, and barely anything you actually do. You just sit back and watch plastic ducks float around a pool while new ducks randomly show up. And honestly? That’s the whole point. It’s weirdly relaxing. Throw it on your second monitor while you’re working, gaming, or pretending to be productive, and let the ducks do their thing. Placid Plastic Duck Simulator: not really a game… just a very relaxing screensaver that somehow costs money.

Fun little idle game. I let it run while I read a book. Come back to it when I'm done to see my new duckies. Buy all the cheap DLCs. They're quacktastic! (sorry, not sorry)

At first, I thought of this game as just another "Watching your paint dry' simulator. But Boy was i wrong! The game is everything a modern game should contain. It's fun, calming, relaxing, scary, beautiful and addictive too. The moment you see your ducks interact with each other, its like winning a lottery, like seeing the dvd logo hit the corner of the screen. Just try it! It is that good!! This is all my opinion (and not made by ducks to recruit more people to play this game)

I have never before encountered such a remarkable contraption as Placid Plastic Duck Simulator. Upon first launching the game, I was presented with a most splendid rubber duck, floating peacefully upon the water. I confess I expected some sort of educational exercise, perhaps concerning geography or arithmetic. Instead, I have spent the afternoon watching a duck bob about. It is magnificent. There is no shooting, no dreadful monsters, and scarcely any exertion whatsoever. One simply observes the duck existing in a pond, as God surely intended. My governess has twice asked me to come to luncheon. I cannot. The duck is doing something interesting.
