The vast continent-spanning city of Collosatropolis has finally reached the limits of its expansion. Tall buildings cover every available space. The air is thick with smoke and poisonous chemicals. Parking is a nightmare.
The Collosotropolan leaders have decided the simplest solution is to invade the neighbouring country of Mungola. They don't anticipate much of a struggle - Mungolans are simple, earthy types without much love for industry. In fact, Mungola's entire defence force consists of a single squadron of fighter planes - the venerable F-27 "Platypus".
What possible threat could a few antique aircraft be to the mighty Collosotropolan Battle Fleet...?

Platypus to świetna, oldschoolowa strzelanka, która mimo upływu lat nadal ma mnóstwo uroku. Zasady są bardzo proste – lecimy przed siebie, unikamy pocisków, niszczymy kolejnych przeciwników i zbieramy ulepszenia uzbrojenia. Najbardziej charakterystycznym elementem jest oczywiście oprawa wykonana z plasteliny. Statki, przeciwnicy i całe otoczenie mają dzięki temu wyjątkowy styl, którego praktycznie nie da się pomylić z żadną inną grą. Do tego dochodzi bardzo dobry soundtrack i coraz bardziej wymagające poziomy. Rozgrywka nie jest szczególnie rozbudowana, ale jako klasyczny arcade'owy shoot ’em up sprawdza się znakomicie. Duży plus również za możliwość wspólnej gry na jednym ekranie. Prosta, charakterystyczna i bardzo sympatyczna produkcja, która dobrze zniosła próbę czasu. Polecam.

Muy bueno y simple pero complicado. Me gusta que parece un juego de maquina arcade y hasta aparece un cartel para seguir jugando aunque no tengas que meter fichas para seguir jugando, igual obviamente no hay vidas infinitas en algún punto te morís.
