Devs, I'm screaming from the rooftops on this one. You struck a goldmine with this concept. I remember buying this game years ago before the DLCs were even a consideration. It played solid and logically. But after putting in an additional 13 hours in the last couple days, I'm royally pissed. Here's some of my grievances: - Every piece of media on the steam store page is clearly AI generated, save for some actual screenshots of in-game. It's disgusting. - The game is riddled with bugs now. Menus not loading, bounding boxes ghosting after closing menus, trains not obeying routing configurations, stations not appearing on schedules properly. For christ sake, you added the Waypoint for free, but it's a nightmarish mess; The text on its display does not scale properly, and trains will take absurd routes to get to them. -Due to both of the aforementioned, I am convinced that you got lazy after the AI boom and now the game is vibe coded BS. Unacceptable. I will not recommend this game or any of its DLCs until you fix the stability issues and remove the AI art.

It is a rip off of an old czech game from the early 90´s called Gordikon, which is actually more fun than this AI slop. I really wanted to support the devs of Rail Route, but the game is just not fun to play at all.

作为一个对于调度问题感兴趣的人来说，这个游戏比自动生产类游戏还舒适，只需要专注于时序编排上的可满足性，没有什么资源约束。前期玩着屡屡出现延误和撞车的事故，需要费一番心思完美调度，不得不说这玩的也挺惊心动魄的。而且我对铁路也挺感兴趣，铁路调度玩着很好玩，还有上海广州等为背景的关卡，甚至有中国各个城市的地铁线为原型的mods。

I do like the idea of the game, and there is definitely the basis of a game. There are issues that hinder at least my enjoyment of this game, mainly the terrible timetable editing, and very restrictive building make it hard to reccomend.

I liked the game initially, it sounds fun to build a railway. One of the things I enjoy the most in Workers and Resources was building a railway and setting up signals for trains. This made me buy and try RailRoute. However, there was simply too much of pointless clicking to get to the automation upgrades. So one upgrade that could increase the fun for me was behind a click-wall :D I could play with all upgrades unlocked, but the game calls it cheating, and I don't like cheats in games x) I'd probably enjoy it more if it was my real job as a dispatcher.

プレイ時間の通り、相当にやりこんだ方かなと思います (エンドレスモード)。 しかし EA 時代のやりこみなんですよね。 久しぶりに起動して、DLC も二つ購入してプレイしてますが、、何人か (日本人でない方) の指摘通り UI が酷いというか、(以前と比べると) 改悪されたと言っていいかなと。 開発チームとしては改善のはずでしょうけど、ユーザーの意見を入れ込みすぎて、相当にとっちらかって、こんな状態なのかなと思います。 EA 時代でも確かに UI にクセがありましたが、その壁は今よりは薄くて、 それを乗り越えれば楽しさが待ってた訳ですが、、今はダメですね。 そんな訳で、あえて辛口で bad とします。 (最近は、シミュレータの方に寄せた運行管理ゲームもあるようなので、そっちに流れようかな・・)

Yes, but stick to ea_18 or ea_17. Not sure what the developers were thinking by swapping out the clean vector graphics for pixel ones just to appeal to the console crowd. I'm playing this on PC. Don't buy the DLC Expect Delays since that will only run on the pixel version (latest game version). Why is it such a big issue? Vector graphics don't tax your GPU, Pixel graphics do. There is absolutely NO reason for this game to use pixel graphics. It lags on big maps too. Devs: Be sure to tell your customer base if you're planning to do the same with Port Control. Then we are warned, and have an option to not buy it.

I really tried to like this game, I put several hours in it. But I just can't. The game mechanics (from mid tier on) are way too complex to be enjoyable (the tutorials are useless), it gets tedious really quickly and most of all, I know it's just a game, but nothing actually makes sense in terms of real life operations. The game is also really dark and there is no way to adjust that, you can't even change your background colour. It is fun for the first hour or so, I keep coming back to it everey couple of months to see if I can make something of it. You will rage quit this game.
