Taken Bass lessons for a bout 2 years across my 7-8 years of on and off again bass playing. This has been a great way for me to really take the helm of my mastery of the Bass Guitar. 15 hours in and between the entire bas(e/s) game, DLC, AND the extensive Community DLC (CDLC) available? I'm having a blast! Highly recommend.

This game taught me how to play real guitar in no time flat. Within a week I was playing full songs no problem. I probably would still be trying to read and learn tab and get frustrated and quit if it wasn't for this game. Now that I know the mechanics of guitar playing I can just intuit how songs are played on stuff I am listening to. It oddly teaches you music theory without making it all that explicit. At some point you just go, oh yeah, that's what they are playing and why they are playing it that way.

This ♥♥♥♥ WILL teach you to play guitar... WHILE YOU PLAY THIS. But if you wanna be a musician beyond the keyboard THAT IS UP TO YOU STILL. Best of lucks my friends, you're gonna sound PRETTY BAD if your new, it's gonna feel weird if your already a player, but if you stick with it it's some of the most gratifying ♥♥♥♥ you will EVER do.

Rocksmith was pretty much everything I hoped Guitar Hero would eventually become. I loved rhythm games, but after a while I kept thinking: if I’m going to spend hundreds of hours learning songs, memorizing patterns, and building finger coordination, why am I doing it on five plastic buttons? Rocksmith answered that question perfectly. You plug in an actual guitar, play actual notes and chords, and the game gradually teaches you the real song. It still has that addictive “one more try” feeling Guitar Hero had, except now the time you’re putting in actually transfers to playing an instrument. That was the biggest thing for me. I didn’t want to spend years getting really good at pressing plastic keys when I could spend that same time learning guitar. Rocksmith was everything I hoped it would be: part game, part practice tool, and probably the best bridge I’ve ever seen between wanting to play guitar and actually picking one up.

Bought it, bought a non-official cable thinking it would work because why wouldnt it? It doesnt work. I need an official 80€ cable to play this game.

Если замодить как надо, играть через звуковую карту и ASIO, то игра вообще пушка. Очень сильно рекомендую гитаристам, даже начинающим

The game is just super fragile. I'm trying to set it up with a Scarlett Solo. I spent 3 hours setting it up to work, than downloaded a DLC and the whole game felt a part. After another hour trying to figure out why I'm calling it the day. Do yourself a favor and go for Yousician or something like this
