это просто отличный олдскульный шутер, который я оцениваю без ностальгии, просто как игру. И он держится на одном: чистом, честном, простом и безумно динамичном геймплее. рекомендую всем, кто любит динамичные шутеры и не боится больших толп врагов и мяска. лично я получил огромное удовольствие

Serious Sam the First Encounter is already one of the best shooters on the market and the Second Encounter is just... more of it. Instead of being limited to Egypt, the Second Encounter takes the player to the jungles, forests, medieval castles and villages. The loadout also got a few additions, such as the flamethrower and the sniper rifle - both being incredibly useful. Achievements-wise it kinda sucks the majority requires playing the multiplayer game modes. The soundtrack is stilll incredible, give it a listen! Definitely recommend - fantastic, chaotic and over the top shooter.

Nostalgia, Guns and Absolute Chaos 💥 I mostly went back to Serious Sam: The Second Encounter for nostalgia, having played it many years ago when it originally came out, although I barely remembered anything about it. And honestly, it’s still pretty fun. It’s completely brainless, over-the-top chaos: huge waves of enemies, ridiculous weapons, constant explosions and Sam throwing out one-liners while everything around him turns into a shooting gallery. There’s something strangely relaxing about how uncomplicated it all is. That said, I thought it was just okay overall. The formula can get repetitive after a while, and I found the final boss surprisingly underwhelming, especially compared to the much more memorable finale of The First Encounter. Still, I can absolutely understand why this became such a classic back in the day. It’s loud, stupid, fast and completely committed to what it wants to be. Sometimes that’s enough.

Another classic and it is the first encounter expanded. More weapons and more enemies. Personally I like the first encounter more, probably because of nostalgia but also since I think that the first encounter was better paced. Playing both gives complete experience.

Great game but its borked on modern systems. If you leave the framerate uncapped most enemy spawners will break. If you cap the framerate it adds insane delay to your inputs. I would say play the fusion version if that didnt crash all the time. Get the classic version running through a sourceport.

This game should be compulsory for all school children to complete as a mandatory serious subject on Mankind. It teaches about Mayan Civilization. It's previous part was about Egypt.
