Ноуп, я точно не выгорел от игр Этот, казалось бы, примитивный шутер, вызвал у меня сильные эстетические чувства, которые сложно описать словами. Есть что-то прекрасное в синергии быстрой стрельбы в слоу-моушне, стилистики а-ля "Трон" и загадочной, аплифтящей электроники. Что-то такое, чего мне не хватало, пока я пытался осилить всю франшизу Resident Evil в хронологическом порядке. В конце концов, на распродажах эта игрушка продается за копейки. Попробуйте, может и у вас "кликнет".

It's a cyberpunk action game with wall-running, diving, sliding, disarming and time slowing, reminiscent of Mirror's Edge, Max Payne, and Super Hot. It makes for a fun game that has hours of unique songs.

i just wanna leave a positive review after yesterday's 5 year anniversary update. this game is pretty slick. i feel like most indie games get in their own way due to a few poor decisions which end up weighting quite a bit on the finished piece; not the case at all with severed steel, as gameplay is tight, clean and fresh. it's always a blast to play it.

Was looking for a fun game to get to know mouse and keyboard and got this on a massive sale. I don't know how many hours you'll get out of it but it is fun. Feels like an old school arcade shooter where the purpose actually is to have fun, which was great

(most of my playtime is on GOG) everything about this game is very simple, from the gunplay to the story. there are bad guys. kill them. why? they're bad. there are generators to destroy to progress. what are you trying to progress toward? escape or something idk. there's no ADS, barely any recoil for almost any guns, and the gameplay is basically the same for all levels. that said, none of that is a bad thing. the whole point is to feel like a murder demon constantly bouncing off of walls and slide kicking everything to death, sometimes in slo mo, and always with some good music. this is one of those games where the focus is nothing but the action and gameplay, and once you really get invested in that you enter this sorta trance like state of just naturally gliding around the levels chaining combos and kicking people through walls. the sound effects are nice and punchy, there is nothing more satisfying than jumping through a window and doming some guy halfway across the map with a deagle and hearing that nice dink sound. there are also destructible environments, which both look great when you finish a level and see the destruction and also allows you to do some tactically interesting stuff, like shooting a guy through the floor or blasting into a room through a wall. some of the modifiers you can get in this game's roguelite mode are pretty fun to mix and match too, like one shot guns that make people explode with headshots while you only have one health. it also goes on sale somewhat often, and usually for like $2. definitely pick it up.

One of my favourite games, it has the perfect balance of difficulty with pick-up-and-play accessibility, nothing else makes you feel more like Neo than this game. The slo-mo, the aerobatics, the gun feel, etc etc etc, all come together to make a game that feels complete and as close to perfect as you can get.
