Que este juego este basado en una historia que pasó en la vida real lo hace bastante escalofriante, que haya existido una persona así de psicópata y turbia en la vida real me parece increíble. Dejando de lado eso y centrándome en la jugabilidad este juego de la saga es muchísimo más llevadero, los puzles son nivel intermedio y estas esparcidos bastante bien a lo largo del juego para que no sea frustrante como el juego anterior en el que solo te pasabas resolviendo puzles durante el 90% del juego, este juego se centra más en la investigación y cronológicamente ocurre antes que el Sherlock Holmes The Awakened y el Nemesis. El único problema que tiene es que reutilizan hasta los modelos de los personajes principales de los juegos anteriores lo que hace que se pierda bastante la inmersión a la hora de jugar si es que ya te pasaste los juegos anteriores, si es tu primer juego de Sherlock lo vas a disfrutar bastante sobre todo si te gustan este estilo de historias de asesinos le doy un 8/10.

Очень интересная игра, особенно для начинающих игроков. Местами сложная, но от этого и играть интереснее. p.s. это была моя первая сюжетная игра, которую я прошла до конца

As a player who loves buying games and complete them after. This is one of those games where I gave up, which I rarely do to any of my purchased games. This game started off pretty well and it did intrigued me but the main issue was that the puzzles are honestly confusing where you will be needing to search youtube. But the main reason why I stopped it for good was when the game always has this scenario where person A would be need person B and that Person B would be needing a favor of another favor. It's just unnecessary how some quests are needed to be done when it could already be given on the spot.

While I had to edit game.ini file and download files from outside to make the game run, afterwards I haven't encountered any bugs or issues whatsoever during my gameplay. It was a smooth ride and I finished the game in two sittings. If you enjoyed other Holmes games by Frogwares - personally I only played Crimes and Punishments, Chapter One and the remake of The Awakened so far - I'm sure you'll enjoy this one too. The graphics are obviously dated, but I don't think they're bad. And if you're playing a lot of point-and-click and similar games I'm sure you've seen worse. The editing is sometimes too choppy though, and some scenes transitions are much too abrupt. The plot is fairly interesting, at least the main one. I personally prefer "From Hell" type of Jack the Ripper (a 1979 Sherlock Holmes movie "Murder by Decree" is close to that btw), but I still enjoyed this particular retelling of the story and the explanation as to why police never caught the killer. Subplots are less engaging and a lot of the playtime is padded by random, silly quests for various people, especially in the early parts of the game. The story there is a bit ridiculous, dialogues are very heavy handed, and it's clear the creators of the game added these parts only to make the game a bit longer. Puzzles are rather easy. Though I did struggle a bit with the dates of the battles that took place in US, and the cell opening puzzle was quite annoying. Some puzzles are so deeply explained that the player just needs to follow Holmes' instructions without thinking, sometimes we don't any explanation at all, which is a bit odd. A few pixel hunting moments also occured, but I'm quite used to these, so I didn't mind. I also played with Polish subtitles (they turned on automatically, and I didn't bother to turn them off) and noticed that there were some typos and misspellings. I am also unsure if the explanation of the Yiddish puzzle was fully correct (I think one letter/number combination was wrong). In any case, if you like crime stories, point-and-click games and don't mind playing older titles, this one is still pretty fun.

несмотря на баги, игра отличная. атмосфера лондона викторианской эпохи плюс интересный сюжет. тем не менее, советую запускать игру на более ранних версиях виндовс и держать под рукой гайд по прохождению.
