I installed the game and tried to launch it it got an error involving Javelin Anticheat, It asked me to get rid of some old driver so I did and tried launching it again. This went on for several minutes of issues.... I removed every program it asked me to, until it demanded I remove the driver for my wireless headset (Corsair iCUE), which I am absolutely certain shouldn't be an issue. At that point, I knew it was a hard "no" for me, but I uninstalled iCUE temporarily just to see if the game would start.... i restarted my PC and tried launching the game again it then showed an error regarding my GPU's fan control software... and immediately after that, i got a Blue Screen of Death All this hassle just to run a skateboarding game... I uninstalled the game immediately after all that. I spoke to a friend who said he had encountered similar errors (except for the Blue Screen), and he gave up on the game too. I googled to understand why Javelin is so aggressive towards absolutely everything installed on the PC... And to my lack of surprise I discovered that Javelin operates at the Windows kernel level and likely has more system privileges than even you, the Administrator, do. Not only is that way too much especially for the game in question but it also ensures I will never launch a game with this anticheat again. I will never buy or play anything that uses this system. It’s disappointing, especially considering this was a specific game I really wanted to play. The use of anti-cheat software is understandable, but there’s a limit to how intrusive these things should be on a user's computer. After dealing with a Blue Screen of Death and spending minutes uninstalling a bunch of drivers/programs only to find out that the next time I launch, it’s going to take issue with some other random stupid program that has nothing to do with cheating I never want to go near a game that uses this Javelin system, never again.

Every season has made the game more fun to play, but at the tradeoff of a vastly worse user experience. I've tried to stay at least neutral, because the gameplay is genuinely fun. But I've gotten to the final straw when I finally fell victim to EA's scam as well. NOTHING you spend premium currency/real money on has a confirmation dialog. You hold the button long enough and it's yours, whether you actually wanted it or not. It's appalling that they still haven't changed this, even after months and months of users complaining about accidentally spending premium currency on items they didn't want. I intentionally bought the pass last season, and had to play dozens of hours over the course of the season, every single day just to finish it, and I barely made it. Because the developers made the inane decision to not only completely wipe battle pass currency every season, but they also greatly increased the total cost of items while also greatly decreasing the amount of battle pass currency available. I usually stay away from battle passes because they're a plague upon the industry, but I had saved enough premium currency from the free sections of the previous passes to buy it. Never before have I had to spend so much of my time to unlock stuff in any battle pass. It's mind boggling how they've made it worse and worse every season so far. Nevermind that this is an EARLY ACCESS GAME and it's now in its 5th "season", with literally hundreds of dollars worth of overpriced, paid cosmetics shoved in the user's face at every opportunity. I really do enjoy the gameplay, it's why my playtime is so high, but the business practices on display have always disgusted me and it just keeps on getting worse.

great skate mechanics locked behind corporate slop if you can get behind that its a fun game for u to turn ur brain off and just skate but yeah the overall aesthetic is not amazing just add hall of meat pls bro

♥♥♥♥ game wont lauch. i played with a lot of struggle when the game first launched and got stuck at the second mission. i thought after almost a year of it being out i would try again but now i wont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ launch. same pc same specs. i tried eveything that the internet has told me to do. how hard is it to make a game and have it work properly when you launch it. ♥♥♥♥ ea. ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥ game. ps i never post bad reviews but this garbage of 12gb has gotten me pissed.

muito chato, tudo o jogo quer ensinar, eu abro o jogo na intenção de relaxar e mandar umas tricks no mapa... os 30 minutos que eu joguei foi só o jogo ensinando tudo e nao deixando eu explorar o jogo, isso é muito insuportavel, e eu nem consegui terminar os tutoriais, desinstalei antes de acabar, intankavel

Dieses Spiel hatte so unglaublich viel Potenzial, und genau deshalb ist es umso enttäuschender, was daraus geworden ist. Über einen sehr langen Zeitraum kam kaum neuer Content. Und jetzt, nach all der Zeit, kommt endlich die Tutorial-Insel als neue Map – während eine alte Skater-Map hinter einem 10 € teuren Battle Pass steckt. Ganz ehrlich: Wie kann man auf die Idee kommen, eine bereits vorhandene bzw. alte Map nach einer gefühlt endlosen Content-Flaute auch noch hinter einen 10-€-Battle-Pass zu packen? Ich hätte wirklich kein Problem damit, Geld für guten neuen Content auszugeben. Aber bei einem Spiel, das so lange kaum Updates bekommen hat, fühlt sich das einfach nur dreist an. SAKTE hätte so viel mehr sein können. Stattdessen bekommt man das Gefühl, dass das Potenzial einfach verschenkt wurde.

Eu realmente não faço ideia do que fizeram com esse jogo mas hoje em dia (pra mim) ele nem ao menos INICIA, eu não consigo jogar o jogo e percebi que isso não é só comigo, ou seja, se eles não conseguem nem fazer o jogo funcionar imagina como a gameplay dele era. Felizmente, quando lançou o teste público pude realmente jogar o jogo e... ele era muito enjoativo e tinha que ter um grind absurdo para você liberar coisas básicas.. OU SEJA, se você gosta da franquia SKATE, pense que esse jogo é fora dessa franquia. Enfim, tire suas próprias conclusões --> tentando <-- jogar o jogo.
