So first and foremost, I had fun with my time in this game. However as you've probably noticed I've only played for 1.6 hours, and 20 minutes of that was me going back to fights and letting the enemies kill me so I got the achievement. In other words, I beat the game in 80 minutes, and 100% it in 100. This game is easy, maybe I'm just saying that because I've beaten infinity blade and came into this sort of expecting that, but this isn't infinity blade. This is slash-out and it is a novel experience, which for me is enough to earn its price, it's not perfect but its trying, if you buy the game and beat it before two hours like me, I hope you won't refund it.

Stylish, funny, and challenging. Really cool game that keeps offering fresh and interesting twists on it's gameplay as you make your way through it. Excited to play more!

A game with simple mechanics but fun to play. The visuals interested me the most, reminded me of glowing stickman costumes people wear during Halloween. The core is blocking enemy attacks from all four directions and striking back when they are stunned. Each fight is a boss fight, developer did a good job making each fight different: For the girl/robot boss, you need to remember the girl’s attack patterns to defeat the robot as it copies her movements; The goblin makes fake moves; spider requires you to attack in the opposite direction; but the champion goes to the dance floor. It is in my opinion the most difficult fight, it should be the final boss. You have to move between multiple lanes nonstop to hit every enemy, while they keep changing poses, making it hard to know which direction to attack before they move right in front of you. The final stage also turns into a memory test. It took me nearly half an hour to beat that level, and the entire game is 1.5 hours for me. It’s a fun challenge, but I think the level speed could be lowered and given more time for player to react. It’s a fun game, though I wish it were longer. Halfway through the game. I really love the art style, and every fight is unique in both the overall theme and fighting style.

Awesome. Just AWESOME. I am loving it like a Knights and Wizards, Dungeons and Dragons Mike Tyson Punch Out. I hope this is given a update, expansion, more fights. I love the controls its simple but hard to master. Im stuck on the Dj Wizard those dancers come in fast. keep it coming love this. Probably my game of the month. 9.5/10

Really cool game, dripping with style, seems to be well made, but I'm just not a fan of boss rushes like this. Difficulty settings might have helped, reading other reviews, for some this is too easy, and others it is too hard. Your mileage will likely vary depending on your familiarity with the genre.

tl;dr: A lovely if short game most comparative to a fantasy style of punch-out with very memorable graphics & presentation. ----- The mechanics are of that "easy to learn but takes a while to master" sort, you have a directional block for stopping attacks in 4 directions, a sword that can also strike in 4 directions, a shield bash, and a special attack that charges as reward for dealing hits while not taking too many yourself. The bosses increase in complexity and gimmicks as you go, with some having slight difficulty spikes but moreso in a way to keep you on your toes rather than anything that feels innately unfair. You are given hints on death depending how far you get but the game does seem to encourage on the fly thinking to react to new moves yourself rather than dying and relying on hints or trial/error to progress. The bosses attack styles are very consistent and thus can be learned and potentially perfectly handled with practice making it quite satisfying to learn the flow of each fight. Audio design is also clear at communicating both what's happening & what's about to happen, sound cues are just as much tells for attacks as the movements themselves lending to another layer of thought toward teaching the player how to handle every fight exactly. There's a nice little story in the short playtime available, no huge twists or turns but serviceable to get you from A to B with a sensible chuckle or two along the way. While I did finish the game in little over 90 minutes, then another 90 or so to 100% it in a 2nd playthrough I enjoyed every moment & coming back to bosses after learning their moves was very satisfying to get those achievements for winning without being downed. Start to finish this game was a real treat & I hope more people give it a try
