Crashes way too much and to prevent that, you need to launch base game first then immediately close to it then launch this version to fully enjoy it... Sure there is gonna be crashes still... but that because it does not run well on new systems. Other team that keeping this game alive refuses to update its issues for steam. So you guys either have to deal with it on steam or buy it on the official website to have it work at all.

I got Spore and Galactic Adventures through the steam client. I love Spore, but the notice on the store page of Galactic Adventures is complete hogwash. You cannot access this DLC, PERIOD, through steam. In fact - anything that requires a maxis account cannot be accessed through the steam version of Spore. In order to have a maxis account (...that works), you have to run the game through EA's own client - which essentially requires re-purchasing everything from them. Altogether it's not worth the price as-is, but it's most certainly not worth double that through a bloated client from the worst company. You may try to contact their support, but if my experience is universal... they aren't interested in helping.

Absolutely fantastic follow up / expansion to the original Spore game! I do wish they'd add more options to make city building easier though, for instance a way to build a preset so that the repetitiousness of the building placing was less tedious. The adventures are TOUGH sometimes and are a lot of fun to be able to go first person style in.
