First time I ever had a sequel give me everything I wanted from a sequel. Still holds up as a game today and worth giving a go for more than nostalgia reasons

Absolute based classic game, highly reccomend you setup Star Wars Saga Edition for a better single player experience on modern hardware but the original game in itself is fantastic.

A solid shooter. Think of Battlefield but in SPACE. Personally i interacted with little Star Wars media but i always had a thing for Big Battlefields with random screaming men running all around and the universe that has space ships as well as large walking vehicles is a perfect fit. I enjoy lot of the maps, the characters vehicles are plenty of fun too and just for some instant action there are... bots... they exist but they do support most of the modes so you get lot of content out of this. The game just kinda feels poor tho, its easily quite a weak shooter, it has lot of style and content, but the shooting and general movement is just not good and even some guns have a very weak punch to them, for all flaws the modern Battlefront games have they feel much better, like to the point that even though those are inferior experiences, the much better feeling gameplay and the sound more than makes up for it. And i mention Battlefield, which is funny they would later get a futuristic game with large walking vehicles and while it doesn't have space battles it does have a Titan mode with a focus on switching from ground to air combat and dare i say it... honestly feels like a better version of this game. Still, the content and setting alone are enough to make this a solid purchase, i just do not think this is as good as many other games you can get with big battle focus like Battlefield or Unreal Tournament games.

This gotta be a worth it purchase I have ever made. I was planning to buy the remake until I looked into the cons, so of course I ain't buying a pay-to-win game. My expectations of this game aren't that high either due to the out-dated visuals, when I finally played Battlefront II Classic, I immediately loved the game mechanics and its better without the pay-to-win elements, especially I don't have to buy items just to be better. Boy, am so ready to invest myself and grind more since I bought this game with my own money lol

The best version of what you played as a kid, add the mods will change how you view this game and I doubt you'll go back to vanilla.

Better than the new one, campaign is rly fun especially on the hardest difficulty, multiplayer still has some people playing which is amazing
