Do you like all-out chaotic wars, space battles, very intense ground battles AND all of that Star Wars themed? Then this game is for you! I used to play a lot of the OG Star Wars battlefronts, but this one truly ices the cake for me. The graphics, the mechanics, the smoothness, the gunplay, the atmosphere, all the visuals and sound effects that are happening on your screen; everything is amazing in this game. For a game from 2017, this game was truly ahead of its time seeing how well polished this game is and the graphics are still so clean and amazing, even if you would start playing this game in 2026. The only downside is the small player base; the devs stopped updating/supporting this game while it was in a great state... and it still is! I rarely (1 out of 100 matches) encounter a hacker. Its still very playable and there are enough people playing to find matches (and yes; the lobbys are full). I highly recommend this gem to everyone who loves Star Wars (and to the non-Star Wars lovers out there as well lol). You will definitely have a blast. This game is absolutely an 11/10 - May the Force be with You. Always.

This game is great but I cannot reccomend it since EA essentially abandoned it. The online features for squadding up with your friends only works half the time and if a cheater is playing the match is basically ruined.

Such a good game. Visuals are nice. Sounddesign is fantastic. But sadly there are too many cheaters that can straight up shut down a lobby. Shame on EA for letting this game go to waste.

This is a genuinely fun and cool star wars game, like, 60% of the time. It looks and feels like star wars and I think is a very fun experience at it's core. I mean, balance is very wonky with some sides having a definite advantage but in my experience it's not as much of an issue in itself. I do think this is a well made game, but there are so many weird things you need to be able to put up with to enjoy it. - The online population of the game isn't massive anymore. you can still find games but if you're playing in less popular hours there might be a bit of waiting. This also means that the game modes you can play are limited. I only play supremacy, because it's the one I like, but aside from that and Heroes vs Villains the other modes are less likely to have a full lobby. - Also to do with the player numbers it's a lot harder to find games of supremacy from every era. Prequel era is the most populated, OT era less so. I've never found a lobby for sequel era supremacy. - Cheating is a definite issue. I don't think it's nearly as bad as the way people describe it (idk if it's just a region thing or something) but every now and then you'll run into someone using aimbot or just one shotting everyone with a rapid fire gun or something. shockingly that doesn't necessarily mean they'll win but it's irritating. And since EA essentially abandoned the game they don't get banned. - Balancing for the teams is awful. I genuinely think sometimes that playing this game is one of the purest forms of gambling. When you have a match with 2 relatively even teams it's absolutely incredible and so much fun, but if one team has just 1 or 2 more really good players than the other then it just sorta turns into a horrible sweep that isn't fun for either side. It's not necessarily one or the other but it's a little irritating how obviously one insane player can fully tilt the outcome. (also shoutout to clans for making the game unfun for everyone else as a hobby.) Uhhhh... this isn't the most convincing positive review, just think of this as a test i guess. if you think you can stomach inconsistent matchmaking and a lack of cheating moderation then you'll probably have a really good time. otherwise it's probably better to stay away. (As a side note, there is a community made server hosting thing called Kyber which hosts private servers with actual anti cheat and moderation, but I don't think it's as much of a "solution" to the issues in this game as people make it out to be. I tried it for a few days but it's incredibly empty. I couldn't find a single server with a decent player capacity for supremacy and the only official servers, AKA the ones people play on, are modded which adds a lot of random things without any consideration for balance. Try it if you want but don't go in expecting it to revolutionise the experience)

Попит на аркадні шутани в всесвіті ЗВ у громади шалений, питання чи ризикне хтось спробувати його закрити після історії з Баттлфронтом.

Fantastic game that still holds up to this day. Naturally with time more hackers have started to appear but most matches are still palyable, sweats are all over the place though. DO NOT PLAY HERO SHOWDOWN unless you have thick skin and/or enjoy ragebaiting people with no joy in their lives, and if you DO play is I'm begging you to remember it is a 2v2 mode and to not cave to 1v1ers if you don't want to. Would recommend.

Tried to play after a few months away from it. Hackers in every lobby just crashing the game and teleporting everyone off the map. Seems like EA has just given up on the game and doesn't care anymore.

There are two single player campaigns, and the first of the two was simply outstanding. It benefited from an intertaining story, wonderful characters, good gameplay, great soundtrack, great cinematics, graphics that still look nice even today, and the game runs fairly well even on older hardware. I played the whole game on ultra settings and had no issues. The campaign gameplay is all action-adventure/story/cinematic/third-person-shooter. No puzzles or anything like that. I am quite happy with this. I bought the game primarily to play the single player campaign, and wasn’t disappointed. The second of the two campaigns was very short and the characters weren’t as good, but it was still okay. I was pleased to find the multiplayer is also decently fun too, and is still active currently as of September 2026. Multiplayer has several game modes. There is co-op mode where you assault or defend specific locations (the objective), with other friends vs the AI. There is also a mode called “Supremacy” which is essentially the same thing but it’s a player vs player mode where teams of human players try to either assault/defend locations. And you can choose from three time periods for these game modes to take place in (Rebel Alliance vs Empire, Galactic Republic vs Separatists, or the time period of the “First Order” from the lower quality newer movies). You start off initially with four basic classes… basic types of soldier unit, sniper classes, officers (a bit like the Engineer class in Team Fortress 2), or a heavy weapons soldier. There is also a player vs player spaceship combat mode where you pilot various spaceships in combat with other players, again with objectives. Overall the multiplayer is pretty fun and adds a lot of replay value to the game. The only criticism I have for the multiplayer is that the multiplayer spaceship combat mode doesn’t have VR support like Star Wars: Squadrons does. That’s disappointing, but overall the great single player campaign experience and the rest of the multiplayer experience is pretty good and easy to recommend for most players… especially Star Wars fans. I would especially recommend this game to people who were fans of the older Star Wars movies, because the game has a tremendous amount of content from that time period of Star Wars in it, and the high quality single player campaign seems to fit nicely with the lore from the timeline of the original Star Wars trilogy. This is definitely the best modern Star Wars game I have managed to find.
