This is such a fun game! I'll take it even further and say this is THE MOST fun skate trick game I have ever played. The level design is so good. The soundtrack is so good. It all takes me back to when I used to play with these fingerboards. It's that feeling all over again except instead of relying on ones imagination it takes you all the way there. Tony Hawk has got nothing on this. This is not a free skate game. The levels are set up in circuits made of the most elaborate obstacle courses anyone could ever possibly dream of, including one in the midst of a tornado, and you are scored based on your time. If you fall out of the area you will restart at a checkpoint with a 1 second loss. And if you're really good you can find shortcuts to finish even faster. It runs good on steam deck even though it is not officially supported for some reason. There is an option in the settings to test your hardware and it will set the graphics settings based on that. Indie GOTY for me.

easy 10/10 incredibly fun, nice community, cool devs all we need now is a lvl editor and a tab for community maps and i would put 1000s of hours into this

STUNTBOOST is honestly a beautiful blast to childhood playing with toy boards (+cars & scooters) in crazy homemade tracks. The design being really fun and unique with a strong speedrunning design behind the game. You can easily reset, you are encouraged to continue through checkpts (at the cost of time), and you are tasked with really being more efficient as you get down the map. The levels all being strong in their designs and relatively short enough for repeated attempts that doesn't really burn out the player on long sequences. This game actively does supportive course correction when you make mistakes and brilliant notes to help you navigate or learn skills for the given stages. Furthermore I just have a deep love for the soundtrack as games that really know how to set the mood for your experience. Genuinely excited to play a ton more and you should too As mentioned in my demo review, the game has such simple controls that you could bind everything to the mouse if you wanted in a way that just perfectly makes this game so fun. Getting to review and see how other players attempted their runs genuinely is one of the coolest things I've seen built into a game and I'm really glad to see the things included in such a reasonably priced title. I really hope there's a possibility to see custom tracks / stage builder system one day with this really fun artstyle / setting. There's so many interesting assets that were made for this game's style and I can imagine how fun it would be to be able to play with it ourselves if not share these stages with people.

This game is insanely well made, addicting and extremely fun. If you like CS surf, Trackmania, Neon White and similar time trial games where you try to find shortcuts and get faster and faster times, you’ll absolutely love this game. I'd even go as far to say it's my favourite in the genre. They recommend playing on mouse and keyboard but you can get some decent times with gyro on controller. Definitely my GOTY.

I would recommend this to everyone who likes speedrunning games 10/10! The music is really good to, and the game feels really polished and smooth. The developers are also insanely talented and kind people.

Disclaimer: I received this game for free and have a skin in the supporter skin section (The beautiful AlexIsPlaying penguin board)! Stuntboost is like part Trackmania, Part CS Surf and part Tech Decks put into the worlds best blender. This is a game about maximizing speed and perfecting paths over countless retries. It's a game I'd describe as a flow-state game. A game that you sit, play and let muscle memory take over. The music in the game fits the part and I quite enjoyed every tack that played. Graphically, this game has a lot of style (although I wish outdoor environments or buildings outside of a residential house were present in the main campaign). There are a lot of mechanics to master. Some are very frequent like crouching to gain speed on downward slopes or rapidly reducing speed on upward slopes. Crouching to reduce height in air quickly. Jumping off a platform upon landing for a kick flip. Grinding rails. It's all very simple and intuitive. However, there were mechanics not used often that I wish popped up more. These include moving your crosshair over Eyes on the map to unlock doors or different board types like Scooters and Longboards which have different limitations or level styles. Oh, there's also a DeLorean you can drive on some stages that has very wide turning and insane levels of speed! The variety in the game is here, but some mechanics just get lost in the shuffle for long stretches. Overall, the game is great. The controls are fantastic (you wouldn't think this would be a game made for KB/M but it totally is) and the leaderboard competition is already pretty fierce. I recommend this game highly.
