Super Hexagon is a timeless classic. It's a simple but complete package that appears difficult on the surface but is mostly a game of pattern recognition and muscle memory. The difficulty curve is very gentle, the 6 levels are well designed, and in the end you will be surprised at just how much skill you gained to beat the game. I also really like the minimalist UI and visual style combined with Chipzel's perfectly fitting chiptune soundtrack. Despite the game's age, it has gotten an update in 2022 for Steam Deck compatibility and as a result, it runs pretty well on modern PCs while also supporting borderless fullscreen. Highly recommend if you want a challenging indie arcade game.

I love this game. It's a nice, simple, exciting, sometimes frustrating yet rewarding game. The controls are so beautifully simple: left, right, exit (escape), and start (space). The colors and music are bright and exciting until near the end. This game gets me into a hypnotic flow state that very few games do for me. It reminds me of Tetris, 2D scrollers, arcade games, and maybe music rhythm games. Maybe I need to sharpen my skill a bit and complete the game. The last few levels are pretty tough

Very difficult and simple game. Pulse always goes high while playing and if you're in a flow, you are constantly feeling very hyped and shortly before death simultaneous. Perfect if you want a real challenge, where you don't have to learn much, or a burst of feelings. If you can really concentrate for 60 seconds, you win a level.
