Phew...one of the most frustrating campaigns I've ever tried to play in my life... Feel free to nerd-splain to me that I don't know what I'm talking about, but I just came off of mission 2...yes, TWO, of the first campaign and it is an exercise in constant aggravation and convenient enemy unit spawn. Yes, I totally believe that the enemy just so happens to get fighters in the air as soon as I build a transport... In an age where I can just play the expansion, which I will check out, and the sequel, which is the "bad" one because the community memery said so, 'cuz it's different, I have no reason to play this. Shills? Take off the nostalgia blinders and remember that this isn't wall to wall three way dust-ups between Fatboys, Monkeylords and Colossi, and you too will remember the pain and irritation of attempting to play this. Skip this.

Could you tell me why this game is so poorly optimized for high‑end PCs? Every time I launch the story campaign, play cutscenes, or when character dialogues pop up, my computer keeps stuttering. It freezes roughly every two to three seconds. I’ve tried adjusting all kinds of settings and even enabled Windows compatibility mode, yet the stuttering still persists. I have no idea how to fix this. That’s my first issue. My second problem is the terrible full‑screen optimization. Whenever I accidentally tab out or switch to another window to do something else on my PC, switching back to the game results in a solid grey screen. I can’t find any solutions online either. What on earth is going on? I’ve loved this game since I was little. It’s practically my all‑time favorite game, the one that holds a special place in my heart. Now that I have better hardware and a more powerful PC, I was hoping to enjoy it to the fullest, so why can’t I get it to work properly? It’s really frustrating.

This game is awesome. The diversity of play within the factions is amazing. You can sink hours into it and still find new strategies. I definitely recommend it to any RTS player.

A fun, but rather dated, game. It doesn’t work very well on modern systems. Using compatibility mode to run it for windows 7 helps, but it doesn’t fix everything. Overall, Supreme Commander Forged Alliance (Forever) is a better game. It runs better, and has more quality of life features, so if you want to play a Supreme Commander title, play Forged Alliance (and look up Forged Alliance Forever for a modernized update). All that said, this is still a fun title, but only as a backwards ‘expansion’ (new story missions) to Forged Alliance.

I love the game but the version is not compatible with modern technology and keeps crashing making it very hard to play. Im sure there are some fixes, but im lazy to go for them. I tried some but it didnt work. Fix it please

Главное разочарование - В игре про ОБЧР самих роботов почти нет Я не люблю стратегии и играю в них чисто ради интересного сюжета. Про суприм командер я помнил из обзоров игромании, где были картинки больших роботов и вся хурма. Я обожаю больших роботов, это моя слабость. Вот руки дошли попробовать. Во первых при разрешении 1920х1080 интерфейс на столько маленький, что в нем не видно ничего. Аналогично и с модельками. Да можно прикрутить камеру к земле и разглядывать их, но тогда ты не увидишь ничего кроме модельки. Если увести её так, что бы хоть немного видеть карту, все модельки это разноцветные наборы из 3 пикселей, Которые ничем не отличаются друг от друга. Во вторых и самое главное: по обзорам и по роликам в игре в начале, я думал тут реально будут войны больших роботов и все такое. А по сути у каждой стороны по 1 роботу и он по факту должен сидеть афк на базе и строить просто как работяга. А воюют классические танчики, машинки, солдатики. Которые как я и говорил, не отличаются друг от друга при отдалении камеры. Я НЕ ОЦЕНИВАЮ игру как стратегию Я знаю, что многим она нравится именно как стратегия. Что в ней есть возможность строить большие армии и все такое. Я оцениваю её просто как мимокрокодил, который любит больших роботов и хотел просто на легкой сложности пройти кампанию ради сюжета. И вот просто ради сюжета в неё играть ну ОЧЕНЬ тяжело. Да и роботов по сути нет.
