The Crooked Man
"There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile. He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile. He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse, and they all lived together in a little crooked house. "
This is the first title in the series known as The Strange Man, developed by Uri Games. Experience the myriad horrors awaiting David as he moves into his new house.
In The Crooked Man, you play as David Hoover, who has recently moved to a new apartment during a rather rough time in his life. In the midst of him struggling to deal with his current situation, David starts to experience some odd occurrences in his apartment, and decides its best to ask a little about the former tenant.
However, he learns little.
Strangely compelled to learn more about this man, David sets off in search of him, hoping to find answers to his questions.
In commemoration of the game's Steam release, achievements, and multi-language localization have been added.

解谜部分实在缺少引导，游玩体验确实没有那么好。但整个游戏的剧情部分让我相当有感触。 无形之物的嘶吼把人逼往死亡的方向，自我厌恶让人否定自己的一部分，最后走向自我毁灭，游戏前面表达的情感相当压抑，后面却是”阻止一颗心破碎“。“The crooked man had a crooked body and only crooked things...”，面对“失败、软弱、后悔...”这些被“crooked”了的东西，人仍然能继续活下去，允许“crooked body”和“crooked things”作为自己的一部分而存在，人不必先变成一个“The uncrooked man”才能继续生活，“crooked body”不会恢复“crooked things”也不会消失“crooked man”住进了“crooked house”,“But I'm sure he was happy living in his crooked house.”

like mad father this game is nostalgic to me too. and i like it and like the endings too. this game is amazing tbh. do play it!

O melhor da série sem duvidas, particularmente considero uma clássico dos jogos de terror de RPG maker. A história é muito boa, o desenvolvimento do David é interessante de ser visto e descoberto, a ambiência do jogo é ótima e traz uma nostalgiazinha e acho os cenários bem legais e não maçantes de explorar como no último jogo dessa série, o the hanged man. Uma coisa que eu sinto falta nos jogos do Uri é a trilha sonora e quando tem não costuma ser lá algo que se diga uau, mas eu gosto bastante das músicas desse jogo aqui. Tem o monstro e uns sustinhos, mas ao longo da história vira muito mais um terror psicológico bacanudo.
