The devs just banned quite a few people for a duration of 15 days (including first time offenders of any kind) for participating in the equivalent of a loot cave bug known as in games like this such as Destiny. Infinite fast respawn of enemies because of their programming error known but not fixed for months. They had a 0.00005% chance to drop one of the new transcendent weapons. This is the correct number of zeroes. Since they are this petty, i will be petty as well; you - dear reader- can decide for yourself if this game worth your time.

Season 4 is an open push to pay for power. Transcendent weapons invalidate most of the hard work players put into Legendary weapons and introduce system that drastically favor key resources being abundant in the shop while being near impossible to get through gameplay. The resource needed to acquire the weapon modification items is extremely hard to get, has disrespectful weekly caps, and require you to pay for increased drop rates of Transcendent weapons. The 3 and 5 respective weekly caps on these modification items means you get one or two rerolls per weapon before having to wait another week for one or two more attempts. Ancestor modules were gambling not gameplay that has worsened the game drastically, Transcendent weapons accelerate the decay of being able to build powerful Descendants without swiping your credit card. Even changes to these systems done rapidly do not put the game on a path that is fun, at this point the studio has gone full gambling over gameplay with the sole intention of milking the few players left. If we wanted to play slot machines for a pay out we would just go to a Casino, because those slot machines have payouts that are actually worth something. TLDR: Game was borderline pay to progress before, now pay for power is what Season 4 is trying to normalize and it only gets worse from here. Do not waste your time or money on this game as it clearly no longer has a future.

Banning people for using a loot cave that has been in the game for MONTHS! Do not play this game the Devs are terrible and are now making the game into a giant cash grab before inevitably coming out and saying they will no longer be supporting the game once they get enough money!

Do you enjoy being penalized for the negligence of those that made and maintain the game? If you answered yes to any of the previous questions, then The First Descendant is a great game for you! If you farm too quickly or too efficiently, kiss your progress and even your account goodbye!

Раз за разом они выкатывают обновления, которые явно недостаточно протестированы (если вообще тестировались). В итоге - куча багов и недоработок, с которыми приходится играть неделями и надеяться, что их исправят (если исправят) в ближайшем патче. Такие проблемы уже неоднократно приводили к невозможности поиграть в некоторые режимы, сбросу рейтинговых таблиц и т.д. И вот очередная старая недоработка, которая существует в игре уже давно. Только на этот раз она внезапно начинает мешать не игрокам, а самим разработчикам. И вместо очередных исправлений и извинений за последствия собственной недоработки они начинают раздавать баны за фарм и изымать всё нафармленное. Когда подобные ошибки мешают игрокам - предлагают просто ждать исправлений. Но когда ошибка внезапно оказывается выгодной игрокам, реакция почему-то находится моментально - баны и откат прогресса. Отличный пример того, какие приоритеты у разработчиков.

Nexon has clearly demonstrated that the pay to win concept is what this game is being turned into. This company only cares about the pockets of its whales that just dive head first into the micro transactions and trading eco. Looter shooter that doesnt give loot worth a damn. Had hopes that Season 4 was going to be a step in the right direction but all it did was further show the scummy true colors of Nexon. Imagine banning your player base for farming mechanics that YOU DEVELOPED INTO THE GAME. Apparently Nexon has never heard of Anthem and how that played out...

I played when it released. I bought the ultimate bunny. I enjoyed it while I played it. After the initial high went away and I realized just how terrible the grind fest was, I left. I came back yesterday only to find all the characters I had were locked except for 3. Ultimate bunny was taken away from me and nothing told me why? You take my bunny, I take your positive review.
