If you've made it this far into Trails you know what you're getting here. The scale of worldbuilding over this series is second to none and the moment to moment gameplay continues to be engaging whether in real time or turn based shard battles. Seeing the return of characters from previous arcs are some of the most enjoyable parts of the game with their respective routes, though this makes the sections with Van's crew drag slightly more due to how enjoyable the other routes are. Presentation is consistently great and the voice work in English is very good with some great performances making the more emotional moments that more poignant. Ultimately, if you have enjoyed the Trails series before this you will enjoy Horizon as well, though beware a tantalising cliffhanger as we wait for the next entry to be released!

will keep this as spoiler free as possible but its a really REALLY good game the game employs the same route structure that reverie/daybreak 2 used which works super well here as each route deals with vastly different aspects of the whole, even though i do wish there was more content for one route in particular given that they havent been playable since sky 3rd and only had minor role in azure + non-face cameo in reverie , but i digress, the routes all deal with different aspects as mentioned with some being alluded to happenings at some point like many years ago the OST is also extremely good, and has one of the best battle themes we've had in years, however the main battle theme, like in daybreak 1/2, feels lackluster and just unfitting for the kinda detective noir/gritty life of van and arkride solutions in and of itself, the daybreak 1 theme should have been a more somber theme due to the struggles van deals with, daybreak 2 should have made it a bit more upbeat until finally a ''happy'' theme by horizons, that is not the case and hurts the OST of the calvard arc a lot since its the main battle theme, i can only hope its not the same battle theme in horizons 2 the game will obviously feel like a improvement from daybreak 2 in and of itself since daybreak 2 was unfortunately rushed due to Ys X getting delayed and they needed a game out for that year, but Horizons itself would still have been a amazing game even if daybreak 2 hadn't been rushed and by extension a bit sub-par, horizons main strenght is its cast and story and its twists and turns were something i didnt expect, that said, like with reveries secret true ending spoiling some parts of daybreak, the secret true ending of daybreak 2 also did that, if you havent done the secret true ending of daybreak 2 then dont do it for the better surprises and twists in horizons a 9/10 however i must give critique where its due, limiting the amount of certain cosmetics was a kinda ♥♥♥♥ idea and the pricing of the various DLC's is just outright absurd, which has unfortunately been a running concept since reverie, if you wanted *all* outfit DLCs (not including the assecories pack) you spend about 30 euros more on that than on the game itself, if you wanted the accesories as well you're looking at roughly double the price for the base game, and they could easily make the DLC's lower now that sky 1st remake gave them a humongous boost in revenue, with sky 2nd likely to give them even more, its just greed at this point

Very cool ending, game suffers from dialogue bloat and a lot of vague posting though (every characters dialogue is like they are trying to be mysterious) . Vans route is atrocious. Took me 100 hours but I feel like this should have been a 50 hour game.

まったりやってます。MD時代から英雄伝説をやってます。全シリーズ持っています。PSは知人の息子にプレゼントしてしまったためこのゲームだけやってませんでした。なのでセールを機に購入。ゲームは面白いです。黎の軌跡で面白くはないなって感じてからこの先のシリーズどうしようかなって思ってましたが界の軌跡は面白いです。操作性の問題も改善され、またLR同時押しで倍速も簡単にできるのでテンポもいいです。ムフフ装備も無料でレースクイーン系が手に入ります。こっちの要望もちゃんと考えてくれてます。バニーに関して有料DLCですが。最近のJRPGは面倒って感じてる方はこれで問題ないと思います。ただ、軌跡シリーズでよくある最後のもやもやは今回もあるのでそこだけは覚悟してください。

Best to hold off on playing this until near 2028 when the next title releases. If you finish it now, the cliffhanger ending will leave you utterly heartbroken, agonizing over the long wait for the sequel.
