Si sos jugador since 1990 o esos años, y lo agarras en oferta re va! Pura nostalgia, de estar en sacoa con 7 u 8 años, se te acalambraba el brazo, mano, hombro todo dsp de un rato jaja en esa epoca resident evil quien te conocia jaja. 10/10 hacia tiempo no me dolia el dedo de tantos clicks xD

I'm not going to say "don't play this game" or "don't buy it" because there is some fun to be had. But anyone thinking this is in any way an improvement over the original is kidding themselves. The graphics are kinda ugly. I'd rather the 90s arcade look to the awkwardly lit and animated models here. Only the Saturn and OG PC ports look worse in my opinion. The gameplay, while kind of there, lacks all the polish and balance that the original needed to feel good. It is an approximation that works ok for the most part, but lets you down in intense boss encounters and certain moments. The sound, is more pivotal in this game than other genres. The original's music needed to grab your attention. The gunfire needed to feel satisfying and the zombie noises needed to tell you when an enemy died or attack stopped. In this game the awkward sound mixing/balance makes all of the noises a blur, unsatisfying and unclear. If this is your only way of playing HOTD 1 then get it. If you are curious about this game then check it out. But please, please, PLEASE... prioritise the OG game!!!

very fun beat it in 34 minutes and im still not gonna refund, exactly what i used to play in malls or casino arcades but better. really confused abt the negative reviews

Welp its a fantastic game when ya throw fairly beefy hardware at it... and with a few adjustments #1 - dial in the eq/ sfx -turn voice to 35% (this fixes the absurd unbalanced stock setting) -music about 75% -and shot sfx to 100% max (with these adjustments it actually sounds like being at arcade) #2 -for a cool original take on "they are not zombies they are mutants" hotd vibe.... I turn on random blood color, makes for a nice change to the remastered gfx and gives it a unusual charm!

D Tier Remake of an S Tier game honestly, I highly recommend modding it so that it keeps the original dude that says "THE HOUSE, OF THE DEAD", that mod can be found here https://www.nexusmods.com/thehouseofthedeadremake/mods/2?tab=description Still fun to play, def not worth the price that its asking for though
