Finally, a game with some personality. A serial killer. A filthy city. Bodies stapled to walls. Neon lights. VHS horror. Gore everywhere. And somehow... It's funny. That's what I like about The Skin Stapler. Most horror games are terrified of being ridiculous. They spend hours whispering at you in dark hallways, desperately hoping you'll jump. This game looks at a horrifying murder scene and basically says: "Well... that's one way to decorate." I laughed. A lot. You play Detective ♥♥♥♥ Slater, investigating a serial killer called The Skin Stapler, and honestly, that name alone deserves an award. You're crawling through Carrion City, investigating murders, solving disgusting little puzzles and slowly discovering that this city's problems go much deeper than one lunatic with a stapler. And the atmosphere? Perfect. Everything looks dirty. Everything sounds wrong. Everything feels like it was filmed on a VHS tape that somebody found underneath a dead body. Beautiful. The gore is fantastic too. Blood, mutilated bodies, monsters, violence... Finally, a game that understands subtlety is overrated. And I love the contrast between the horror and the comedy. One minute I'm investigating something genuinely disturbing. The next I'm laughing at some completely insane situation thinking: "Who the hell came up with this?" Apparently someone with taste. The fully voiced characters make it even better. ♥♥♥♥ Slater feels like a man who has seen absolutely everything and is now just tired of everyone's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I understand him. You walk through this rotten city long enough and eventually you stop being shocked. You just start judging the interior decorating. But I do have one problem. The game is a little too short. Just when I was really getting into the madness, getting comfortable in all the blood and insanity, suddenly... It's over. Excuse me? I wasn't finished. I wanted more investigations. More disgusting crime scenes. More ridiculous dialogue. More monsters. More blood. More Skin Stapler. That's the only thing stopping this from being even better for me. I'd happily spend several more hours running around Carrion City and seeing just how much worse things can get. Still, I'd rather have a short game this good than a long game filled with pointless filler. The Skin Stapler doesn't try to be some enormous cinematic masterpiece. It doesn't need to. It's a nasty little grindhouse nightmare that knows exactly what it wants to be. Bloody. Weird. Funny. Uncomfortable. And completely insane. I had a great time. A beautifully disgusting little horror game. Just one request for the developers... Make the next one longer. The killer has a stapler. I have a review. And apparently, I need more blood.

Hi hi !! chicos ♥♥ Key obtenida gracias a: ♥♥ Assemble Entertainment a través de Keymailer ♥♥ [*] El único punto negativo del juego es que está en ingles, que es un gran apartado del humor que maneja el juego, aunque tienes subtítulos, es una pena que no traduzcan sus juegos habiendo tantas IA hoy en día que se utilizan para ello y lo hacen realmente bien, cosa que muchas compañías indie o doble A están haciendo en sus juegos, para llegar a más público. [*] El juego es un bonito estilo retro como juegos de antaño, muy gratificante a la vista realmente para los más nostálgicos, se divide en muchos capítulos los cuales puedes seleccionarlos desde el menú del juego aunque no hayas pasado el juego, son capítulos cortos asi que no tienen guardado, el juego te lleva de la mano para hacer las cosas y no puedes liarla ni perder el capitulo para que se entienda, solo avanzar al siguiente. [*] El juego es increíblemente BIZARRO con ciertos NPCs que aparecerán en varios mapas, haciendo diferentes cosas con doble sentido, muy gracioso, muy divertido, muy WTF, risas aseguradas, al menos para la mayoría del mundo. [*] Banda sonora muy buena, acompaña al ritmo del juego, la historia por su parte es muy interesante, y las animaciones también son muy graciosas en algunos momentos, totalmente recomendado es una mezcla de seriedad por los asesinatos los cuales son grotesco y gore y un añadido de mucha comedia a la vez en ciertas cosas, una combinación que en este juego ah quedado muy bien elaborado. Eff'd up and Brilliant. For the same reasons noted in the endgame note as to why this game was made.. is why I had a blast playing through it. It's not complex, or challenging.. just a fun campy horror game with classic B cheese and inuendo. Absolutely looking for the sequel and prequel! :)

Pretty good start with a suspenseful beginning. Then it just kind of ♥♥♥♥♥ itself with annoying minigames and a billion really bad sex jokes that go on far to long. I'm just gonna say it: The game is padding, like super hard. It's probably some of the worst padding I think I've seen in a game this year.

Absolute PEAK i thought it would just be another horror game but i wanted to give it a chance and i loved it its not too long so it makes for the perfect night game i hope to see what happens next ROBBIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

The game is exactly what it looks like. For what it is worth the game was fun the story line could have been a bit more diverse but hey, overall good fun game to just play because you need a break for the monotony. Some of the jump scares even got me. the creep factor is good and overall id say if your looking for a funny and slightly creepy game to play this is worth your money.

While short it was an enjoyable experience and I don't regret my purchase at all, my only complaint would be filling the doughnuts takes waaaaaay too long.

이런 똥겜같으니... 보다시피 병맛겜인데 개그요소도 너무 재미없고 sec드립도 별로 와닿진 않음...노잼... 그렇다고 공포감이나 갑툭튀도 다 예상되고 뭐 하나 괜찮은 부분이 하나도 없음 스토리는 말할것도없이 우리집 강아지 똥보다 못봐주겠음 거짓말 안치고 게임하는 내내 -_- 이상태로 게임함 시간도 아깝고 돈도 아깝다 엄뒤겜 -_-ㅗ
