Атмосферный, камерный детектив, великолепное музыкальное сопровождение. Есть русская озвучка от войсов, если что) Моментами не очевидные действия были, я подтормаживала, но в целом все решается гайдом. У меня ассоциации возникли с Лавкрафтом, у зрителей со Стивеном Кингом, когда история под конец раскручивается, а все, что было ДО, не то, чем кажется..вот.

4/10 — Only worth it for the easy achievements. I can’t really recommend this game in 2026. It feels pretty outdated, and the gameplay hasn’t aged well. The story is actually pretty good, but 90%+ of the game is basically just “go there, find this, bring it back”. You spend most of your time walking around doing very simple objectives, with only short cutscenes in between to move the story forward. I know it’s a walking sim, so walking itself isn’t the problem. The problem is that there’s very little else to make the exploration interesting. There are maybe 2 puzzles in the entire game that I found genuinely interesting. Overall: 4/10. The story is decent, but I wouldn’t recommend spending your time on it unless you’re mainly looking for easy achievements.

Gra jest krótka, to tak zwany symulator chodzenia z elementami przygodówki, są zagadki, nie ma przeciwników i walki. Grafika zachwyca, została stworzona przy pomocy fotogrametrii. Fabuła może nie jest najwyższych lotów, ale zakończenie zaskakuje. Jeżeli jesteś fanem tego typu gier, to raczej się nie zawiedziesz.

Same haunting, atmospheric mystery as the original — story-wise it's identical, no new quests or secrets. What Redux adds is a full technical rebuild: better performance, a smarter save system, and some visual polish. If you're playing Ethan Carter for the first time, this is the version to get.

This is by far one of my most favorite games, easily top 10. The graphics are so mind blowing, the concept is unique, and it's just creepy enough it leaves you on edge the whole time you're playing without having any true horror jump scares. Solving the different puzzles and putting together clues makes the feeling of being uncomfortable worth it. The story is beautiful and so well written, I can't say enough good things about this game.

I can absolutely see why this type of game won't be for everyone, but I genuinely loved my time with it. ◆ Red Creek Valley is the real star of the game. On the surface, it's just a beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by nature, but there's always this feeling that something is wrong. Something is hiding beneath that peaceful surface. Something that Paul Prospero calls "the sleeping evil." The atmosphere does a fantastic job of making you want to keep exploring just to find out what happened. ༺━━━━━━━━━━✦━━━━━━━━━━༻ ✦ Simple, short, and strangely charming ✦ ◆ The game itself is quite simple, short and linear, and there's not a huge amount of gameplay to speak of. But honestly, I don't think it needed much more. It has a certain charm that's difficult to explain. I started playing this game back in 2016 and enjoyed it, but couldn't keep playing because my PC at the time was a potato and couldn't handle the graphics. Now that I've upgraded my PC enough, I decided to give this game another go. Honestly, this game could have been good. It is beautiful, but it's dead. There are no living creatures anywhere in the game. The forest is devoid of all animal life. You hear ambient sounds, and that's about it. The story started strong, but it ended like they gave up on it after the first two puzzles. There is no direction at all. So a lot of time is wasted guessing and aimlessly walking around large maps to make sure you don't miss anything (Which I think is to make the game feel artificially longer). I'm just disappointed because I know this game could have been good if they had invested more in the story and puzzles, which feel like an afterthought compared to the graphics. If you can get this game on sale and have nothing better to do, then it's worth a play. Just don't expect an amazing story. If you played this and were disappointed like I was. Try playing a game by Annapurna Interactive like Stray or What Remains of Edith Finch. You won't be disappointed <3

An old one but looks amazing. I'd advise a spoiler free beginner's guide. I clueless rage quit this years ago but just gave it a second chance recently. Once you know how it plays it's great. Only takes a couple of hours though.
