Great graphics and great gameplay, and THPS 3 is alright, but they really butchered THPS 4. Instead of having a little open-world style level where you can do missions whenever you want, they brought back the 2-minute timer from THPS 1, 2, and 3.

As a loyal THPS fan, I ended up getting this game only a year after release after shying away from it due to the mixed reception. Man do I regret not picking it up sooner. To address the elephant in the room, yes THPS4's career has been replaced with classic goals which I'm sure is a major bummer if you were hoping to see that experience completely remastered. Me personally, I've always thought it was the weakest career mode of the ps1 and ps2 era, and I think the most unique goals that game offered fit just fine in the classic goal formula. I was most excited to see THPS3's levels remastered and they look absolutely stellar. The pro skater lineup is HUGE and all my annoyances with THPS 1+2 like a needless leveling system and bloated in-game challenges have been resolved (no more decks being locked behind doing 100,000 grabs or lip tricks, yay!). The team did a great job expanding the soundtrack with some modern age punk, hip-hop and metal, and even having an alright enough streamer playlist for those looking to stream the game without it being dead silent. If you're just looking for a new modern THPS game, don't hesitate to buy this. If you were looking to play THPS4 again, you'd be better off playing the original.

Having an absolute blast as I did with 1+2! Personally I have no attachment to Pro Skater 4 so the structural changes don't bother me, plus since I chose to buy it on pc I can just mod in the original soundtrack :)

still has some bugs, but it’s a very good game with a lot of content and plenty of things to do, even after finishing the main missions.

i dont normaly leave negetive reviews, i get that not all games turn out good and thats ok. but i feel like thps 3-4 does not have a excuse thps 1-2 was awsome they hade the perfect platform to build on and yet somehow they manage to change nothing and make it worse at the same time. actualy impressive if you ask me. 50% of the thps games are the soundtrack for me and this one sucks! very much so. another impressive feet from them, this is the first thps ever that i turnd off the soundtrack halfway thru the game.

even though the game takes thps 4 and runs it thru the thps 1-3, 2 minute challenge format, its still hella good.

I love how they brought back the old school Tony Hawk 3+4 and made it improved newer HD graphics compared to the old school version looks really good. The levels are excellent in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 really well designed good for long trick combos. Gameplays really good I love the Tony Hawk series gameplay the best skateboarding game for sure.

It's pretty good. I do wish they didn't completely change how 4 is. They have made 4 like 1/2/3 in progression with a bunch of regular classic goals to complete in 2 minutes. If you don't care too much like i kinda don't, it's fine. But this could and should have been better. Needed more time in development.
