TL;DR: A very fun Point and Click Adventure. Pros: - Story: The story is reminiscent of many other Urban Fantasy stories but has enough twists and turns to keep things interesting. There is twist about 75% through the game that is fantastically executed and recontextualises a lot of the prior content. Characters are somewhat uneven. I liked Eli and KayKay but the other members of the team were a bit meh. Funnily the games side characters are actually far more memorable as I sit down to write this review than some of the team members Most of the Moral dilemmas the player character faces are actually somewhat interesting and do give the player pause to consider what is the best option (and mercy is not *always* the right answer) - Graphics: Superb. Monster designs are all memorable and some of the background work is phenomenal. - Atmosphere: Well maintained what with the pouring rain and effective sound effects. Feels very noir, just as intended. Neutral: - Length: It took me about ~6 hours to complete the main story. - Puzzles: The puzzles were mostly just OK. There are a lot of them but only 2 actually gave me any pause for thought. A few more head scratchers would not have gone astray. Cons: - Voice Acting: the voice acting of some of the characters is great (especially the main crew) however some of the side characters voice acting was extremely grating. Conclusion: A competent point and click adventure carried by its fun pulpy story and superb atmosphere.

I had a great time with this. It's full of charm, all these cool weird characters, great gloomy atmosphere and setting. The plot was a bit predictable, and the humour doesn't always land, but I'd still recommend it to adventure game weirdos. My favourite thing is you have some choices to make, both in terms of who goes out into the world with you that has me legit wondering how it would have gone differently if I made other choices. I'm looking forward to playing again after giving it some time.

somewhat sad, but extremely beautiful game. interesting plot, good art style and voice acting. puzzles are not so complex and logical.

Voice acting, rainy streets of New York, it all works very well on that small beauty of an adventure. Its not too much about the riddles or story telling, some conversations seem redundant and so on.. for the price of a flat white with oat milk you're gifted with small journey for cozy evening hours.

Nota 4/5: Investigadores de lo paranormal deben resolver varios casos diciendo si apoyar a los humanos o las entidades implicadas. Además cada PJ tiene sus propias habilidades y traumas que se mezclan con la trama principal y solo puedes llevar 2 PJ por caso, así que se pueden rejugar de diferentes formas. En el apartado técnico, no soy especialmente fan del estilo grafico pero he de reconocer que la música y voces son excelentes haciéndolo muy disfrutable. La única pega es que solo está en inglés.

Incredible game, lots of player freedom, lots of character building, a strong plot, a fun world that you get to see so many parts of. Really excellent stuff, not surprising Wadjet only really makes the best

Very likely the most replayable adventure game ever made, Steam achievements notwithstading. As with all WEG releases, I first went into it blind in late 2018, and I long ago lost count of how many times I've played this game. Anyone on the fence about getting Unavowed can dive right in and tell me I'm right later. :)
