I wouldn't recommend this DLC unless your really really like Jamie's music, mainly because of the charting which really doesn't feel that fun to play. The spike notes are really overused and the blue notes genuinely feel like they exist solely to break FC's and placed at the most inconvenient places. The music is great and this is not a horrible DLC, but it's hard to recommend it to someone that doesn't listen to Jamie, I'd rather suggest you get the breakout edition if you only care about the gameplay

Do you REALLY like Jamie Paige? Boy I sure hope so! Cause if you don't, I'm not sure there's any reason for you to get this DLC. Well okay, I guess if you are a very high level player who wants an absolutely oppressively difficult song, cause there is one of those. (They call it 25, but imo the difference between Zero Moment and this new song is like 4 levels). All of the songs here are at least "harder" than they say they are, so they don't really help your scoring either, if you care about that. I actually love UNBEATABLE as a game so I was "hoping" the DLC would be enjoyable even if Kasane Teto isn't my thing, but unfortunately I don't think I'm gonna play them any more than I already have. They tend to have a significant number of blocker type moves, unnatural feeling movements, lots of syncopated release timings, a ton of 3+ button notes, and trolly spikes among dense groups of notes. They're difficult, which is okay, but I didn't find them fun to play, which is less okay. The clincher ultimately comes down to the DLC also being $10, which I think is too much to recommend getting this one. Maybe closer to $5, but imo it should have just been added to the Breakout edition. No shade to the devs and I wish them the best, but if you're on the fence about this one, I do not recommend it.

okay so i have yet to play all the songs but fun fact, when you select the playback stage on songs that have MVs such as birdbrain, they actually show said mvs in the background! pretty cool stuff. review TBA

Im not a huge fan of some of the charting in this DLC, but by no means is that enough to justify a negative review. Enough of them are fun that ive been combing through them trying to figure out how to get these folios unlocked. Generally a great time. No Eulogies and Rot For Clout are definitely the shining stars of this one, charting-wise. Atleast in my opinion.
