Unnamed Pogo Game

1 / 8

Every bounce takes you closer to the summit—or sends you all the way back down.

At the bottom of an impossible vertical world, you have one tool: a pogo stick. Use momentum, precision, and nerve to launch across giant platforms, surreal environments, and brutal obstacles on a climb that never gives you a second chance.

There is no easy route upward. Every landing matters, every jump can change your run, and one bad bounce can wipe out everything you fought to gain.

Take on the climb alone, or bring friends into multiplayer mode . Race for the summit, challenge each other to survive the hardest sections, or share the pain when somebody falls.

Do you have the patience, timing, and nerves to reach the top?

Key Features:

Brutal Physics-Based Pogo Gameplay: Every bounce matters. Control your angle, momentum, and timing carefully—one small mistake can ruin everything.

Multiplayer Mayhem: Why struggle alone? Team up or race against friends to see who can master the pogo physics first.

Climb Out of an Impossible World: Travel through strange maps and surreal environments as you fight your way upward toward the only exit.

No Easy Way Out: There are no shortcuts. Falling means losing progress and having to climb back up again.

Built for Rage: Narrow platforms, awkward landings, dangerous jumps, and physics that will test your patience to its limit.

Why You’ll Love (to Hate) This Game

This game is a dedicated test of skill and mental endurance. It strips away the safety nets, leaving only the player, the physics, and the climb. Every successful jump demands absolute precision, and every fall is an inevitable part of the journey back up. It is an experience designed for those who appreciate a relentless, high-stakes challenge.

Can you reach the top… or will you stay trapped below forever?

this is impossible. i just cant do it. i cant even make it to the mountain, i always overshoot the second to last jump, then it takes me like ten more tries to get to that spot. but that doesnt mean i dont like the game. i love it. Socrates tells me the rocks dont hate me, but does Socrates hate me? i dont know. ok so i got a bit farther now. at this rate i should be done with the game in about 6 years, which is good. my big piece of feedback is that i think this game would work really well with a controller. using just the thumbsticks and triggers. left stick for movement, right stick for camera, left trigger for small jump, right trigger for big jump, and a shoulder button to do flips. i used Steam input to assign those to the controller and it works so good and intuitively, it would be nice if it was actually programmed into the game though. edit: this game doesnt support analogue controls as of right now, so it actually feels kind of weird to use a controller.

I've been following this game for a while, so I'm glad its out! It's definitely fun and worth the buy. That being said, these are my thoughts. Not being able to change any controls is extremely tough. I usually press control and shift with my thumb (say what you will, my habits are not the point) and it'd be fantastic to set both jump controls to the mouse buttons or anything that doesn't fatigue my forearm. If this is fixed, I would play it again and change my review to positive. Slopes are objectively bad; they change your momentum extremely drastically, especially vertically, so that no two jumps on a mushroom feel the same. All slope are also slippery, as if flat surfaces are made of asphalt and surfaces with any slope greater than 25* is linoleum floor covered in oil. The slipperyness is gameplay sure, but the momentum being so incredibly inconsistent is debilitating. Aristotle is a nice touch and I will never remove him from my screen.

The game clearly labels itself as a Foddian/"rage game", so I'm leaving a positive review. I like the pogo mechanics. You can get somewhat creative with how you move around, almost reminding me of a skate game. However, if the game wasn't extremely difficult, the pogo mechanics might be more enjoyable. Again, I'll give it a pass: it's a "rage game". I just feel like it would have been great without the "lose all your progress" aspect, maybe instead having more traditional levels.

physics make the game feel more rng dependent than skill based. It's not that there's actual rng, but the physics make no realistic sense at some parts. The pink mushrooms will randomly catapult you 100 feet even when you're holding control, then you'll barely bounce other times. In the tree area, the "branches" either don't bounce at all, or start to bounce completely out of control once you reach a certain distance out of them, but there's no curve as to what controls the bounce. There's either none, or it completely screws you. The wall jump feels like it just doesn't work. A lot of the positive reviews were written in less than an hour of play to support the creator but seemingly none of them were having enough fun to continue playing the game. You cannot tell whatsoever where the corners are on some of the landing platforms; similarly, the pink mushrooms are very difficult to gauge the shape of. The outsides of the mushrooms have no grip whatsoever and you'll just slip off, which feels much more accidental and left in rather than intentional. I'm tempted to complete the game just so that nobody can yell skill issue at me even though they only played for 20 minutes and gave up, and I've been playing this for nearly 6 hours. Maybe I will. In any case, anyone who is able to create a game and put themselves in front of criticism has my respect. The thing about this is that most rage games I've played are 2d, and it makes it a lot harder to know what you're doing wrong. Whatever is happening every time I fall in this game, feels like it's dug under 5 layers of confusing coding, and I just need to keep attempting until it feels like I get lucky.

Super fun game, but insanely hard. The creator even tried teaching me how to play his own game, and I really love the style and gameplay too. Not much else to say. It's just fun.
