UN INTENTO DE HACK AND SLASH BASTANTE MEDIOCRE A diferencia de la mayoría de reseñas positivas que este VanySlash presenta actualmente, la verdad que en general me ha parecido un juego bastante malo, desde lo técnico, pero sobre todo lo jugable, al presentar diseños y gráficos pésimos, y con un gameplay al igual de de malo y repetitivo. Todo salvo el diseño de la protagonista, razón por la cual caí en la trampa, y haciendo pensar que usaron casi todo su presupuesto en el desarrollo del diseño y sus físicas, guiño guiño. A simple vista en la imágenes se puede ver lo malo que resulta en diseño y gráficos, con escenarios lineales bastante pobres y solo adornados con algunos objetos de muy baja calidad, y por supuesto, saturándolos a más no poder con enemigos reciclados y que por supuesto también presentan un diseño bastante pobre. Además hay algunos que tienen diferentes caminos, pero solo interesa explorar para conseguir los atuendos extras para equipar a la prota, e incluso avanzado en la historia, ya casi ni es necesario enfrentar a sus enemigos, solo ir rápido hasta llegar al jefe. Por supuesto el gameplay no se podía quedar atrás, ya que es aburridamente repetitivo y sumamente pésimo. Para empezar la protagonista casi que ni cuenta con combos, solo algunos que otras magias que conseguimos en la historia, que la verdad casi no use, y poder mejorar el combo principal con mas ataques, y nada más, sumado que también esta la horrible cámara y que los enemigos simplemente se amontonan peor que en un musou, pero que aquí ni siquiera cuentan con una hitbox, simplemente se amontonan y repetimos en combo una y otra vez hasta cargar una habilidad para finalizar y listo. Sumado a que también sus enemigos se repiten en casi todo el juego, solamente cambiando de skin y sus jefes que no presentan desafío alguno. PROS: [*]Se nota que se gastaron todo el presupuesto en el diseño de la prota y sus físicas, porque es lo único rescatable. CONTRAS: [*]Los gráficos y diseños de los escenarios son realmente malos, y de baja calidad. [*]El gameplay es igual de malo e infumablemente repetitivo, al repetir siempre el mismo combo y saturando los niveles con enemigos repetitivos, y que ni siquiera cuentan con una buena hitbox. [*]La cámara del juego es realmente mala y tosca. Un juego simplemente malo y que no recomiendo, ni aunque te termine gustando la prota, razón por la cual termine cayendo.

VanySlash is an indie hack and slash game, where you use Vany and her trusted weapon, Magnus III. You basically hack and slash your way through stuffs like slimes, beasts, skeletons, some kind of lizardmen (I guess) and others, while being dressed in pretty skimpy outfits (at least when you unlock those outfits). Magnus III has two forms to be used; a staff form where you regenerate your mana really fast, but having quite little attack power, and an axe form, which is where you will be doing most of your damage from along with your spells and the stun inducing hip attack (yes the booty is so thick that it stuns enemies). The catch is that in staff form, you can sprint and use items, but you cannot do those in axe form. The story is... wait what's the story again? Ah yes, basically taking requests, collecting stuffs, accidentally unsealing some catastrophic stuffs, and its up to you to eliminate it. Yeah, thats about it. Quite a simple story, nothing special. Along the way you get side quests, where you can find loots like extra outfits, and Goblin Screws to unlock variant of those outfits (and some variants doesn't even look like their counterparts at all). The quest boards shows you the progression of the loot and Goblin Screw collection, with the exception of one cheeky place. Honestly, if you do the side quests with the main quests, you will overlevel past the required level super fast. Furthermore, once you unlock the last catalyst and the double hip attack, you can easily clear huge mobs in a short period of time, thus allowing an even faster level up. For some reason, there are times where I couldn't attack with normal weapon, hip attack, or even her boomerang axe attack. I am not sure why, maybe it could be tied to a stamina bar (there is a very tiny bar for it underneath the mana bar), which made some kiting tactics quite annoying. Some minibosses/ bosses like the water elemental are not great to fight against, because they just keep spamming range attacks and they don't really react to any attacks since they have super armor all the time, thus making the fight a slog due to their unresponsiveness to damage. Lack of map makes rerunning areas a hassle, since there are some maze-like areas and its quite easy to get lost there. Finally, a lot of rehashed mobs. You will see the same slime, lizardmen, skeletons and warriors in pretty much most of the areas, either recoloured or having a different models. Not much to say about that, but at least there's some unique mobs like the projectile spamming drakes and the dinosaurs. All in all, a short game, I did enjoyed playing it (and the "plot" of course), though do get it at a lower price, since you can finish this game really fast.

Enemies either don't spawn or fall through the map on some missions. The graphics look slightly blurry/foggy too.
