I bought this game a year ago, when it ran on SteamOS. It no longer does, since the inclusion of EAC and SEGA deciding to enforce its installation only being possible on Windows devices, making so I could not install it on my new Steam Machine today, despite the Verification badges for SteamOS, Steam Deck, and the Steam Machine still being on the side of the webpage. I have since manually applied for a refund of this game, as I purchased it with the idea that it was verified to run on the Steam Deck, and now my Steam Machine. I recommend everyone else to do the same.

What do you mean I was happily playing this on SteamOS and now it doesn’t work due to the anti cheat they added? Why does it still say Steam deck verified? Good game before this, hopefully VF6 doesn’t have this problem because I’m not going back to Windows.

Сега продает игру 20 летней давности (я про оригинал 5) которая морально и графически устарела. Нового контента нет зато есть античит на уровне ядра+тпм2.0+изи античит.Вопрос ♥♥♥♥♥ такая мощная связка античитов для файтинга с онлайном в полторы калеки?Кому оно нужно?Тэккен и сф 6 отлично живут без такого античита.А игры с этим античитом (типа бф 6 или код б04) отлично ломаются потому зачем такая ебля с античитом.Я хз. Ну ладно забьем на античит ну есть он и есть (ну грузит слегка систему ну терпим).А что нового по контенту?А 3 пакета с длс качеством так себе и стоит дороже чем сама игра.Мндееееееееее. Потому в мусорку. Если захотите поиграть в ВФ 5 купите якудзу 6.ТАм есть игровые автоматы.Дешевле чем ВФ5 и еще получите якудзу в подарок.Да нет онлайна да кому он нужен. Брать только если вы хотите играть в онлайн и у вас естьс кем.

It's still a great game with updated balance changes from the previous versions of VF5. online is much improved with rollback net code added, an extra boss character made playable (as paid DLC, which I don't agree with but the option is nice and adds a lot of nuance for such an old game) and a very well done single player mode (world stage) which is a version of the old quest mode from the original VF5. HOWEVER; If you’re on Steam Deck/Steam OS/Linux the game IS unplayable, you literally can’t even install it. So in that situation, avoid at all costs until it has been fixed.

ゲーセンのAPM3台でペンゴ遊んでて横でバーチャやってる人の画面覗いてスピーディーで面白そうだなと思い気になって購入。 格闘ゲーム何やってもガードが出来ないわ立ちしゃがみ投げどれにも対応できないわでヘタクソだなあと思ってたのですが、なぜかバーチャだけはめちゃくちゃしっくり来ました。何でなんでしょうね、複雑なコマンド要らずコンボもそこまで難易度高くなく読みあいまでの敷居が低いから・・・？ 特にワールドツアーモードがめちゃくちゃ面白いというか、ただCPU戦大量にやってくだけながらCPUがしっかりしておりちゃんと読み勝たないと倒せない、どんどん上がってく自分の腕前とちょうど良いくらいの敵とたくさん戦えて楽しいです。もう隙さえあらばバーチャやってるレベル。ワールドツアーで５００戦くらいしてから対人戦触ってみて、完封負けまでいかず１本くらい取れたのでCPU戦の経験活きてるのかなあと。

J’ai pu jouer 4 h, juste le temps de retrouver les bonnes sensations d’époque, et puis après… Eh bien, après, je ne peux pas vous dire ! Dorénavant, le jeu refuse tout simplement de se lancer. J’ai un écran noir au démarrage, avec le chargement en bas à droite, puis soit il reste indéfiniment bloqué sur cet écran noir, soit il plante et je suis renvoyé sur Steam. Et petit bonus : pendant ce magnifique écran noir, le jeu bouffe quasiment toute la RAM du PC jusqu’à le faire freezer. MERCI, M. Sega, pour ce magnifique émulateur à la con !!!

As far as gameplay goes this is the finest 3D fighter out there, and World Stage is a nice throwback to VF4 and T5DR's quest modes. And yet, these recent changes have screwed over a game that wasn't all the popular compared to the big ones. Does SEGA actually care, or do they just fulfill internal quotas without thinking? Fix your game already instead of counting on VF6 hype to make up for the players you've bled out.
