This game is a lot better than I expected, though I had a bad first impresson. The game is capped at 60fps if you have vsync disabled in-game. When you enable vsync it uncaps the framerate. And this game has very poor image quality due to heavy aliasing, but I found that if I reduced the resolution to 1080p it was a lot less of an eyesore and the game became bearable. Aside from those issues, this is a great game. It's very fun to surf around the world, and the story is interesting. The acting is good. The art design is beautiful. There is a lot more to the game than I expected. It ran pretty well, though it crashed once during the 4th timed challenge course. It was manly staying at my maximum fps of 162. It took me about 6.5 hours to finish the game and all achievements, and then about another hour and a half to clean up some optional collectibles that can be ignored, using a youtube guide. I really feel that it's a shame that the presentation of this PC port let down what is otherwise a wonderful game. It just looks pretty bad with all of the aliasing, and it also has a lot of pop-in. These things could have been addressed, they just weren't.

Deep breaths, my darling~ 🌊🌊🌊 For an indie game, this was such a fun and enjoyable platformer! The music was really cool, and I loved all the dad jokes and goofy humor throughout the game. It’s a short game, but I really enjoyed just roaming around and exploring. Sometimes, that’s all you need. 5/5 stars would recommend!

I got this game in a Humble Bundle and gravitated to it super quick. Needless to say I'm glad I got to play it. The game is visually very interesting, think like an upscaled Gamecube/Sega Dreamcast game. The game also has pretty fluid movement and combat mechanics which made the game an easy one to complete. It's a short story, one I was able to 100% in less than 5 hours but I think there's a lot packed into that timeframe. The game did have some frustrating aspects to it, primarily the game freezing up at times like a scratched DVD and sometimes having to fight with the camera when you get too close to the gloom. The keybinds were a little unorthodox but once I got to playing the game it felt fine. Overall, I think the game is worth checking out if you ever see it on sale.

The game has good movement, a good soundtrack, alright voice acting, and I found the water to be very pretty. The basic gameplay loop boils down to collecting objects in a certain zone until you move to the next zone to do it all again. There are also NPCs to discover that give you fetch quests along the way. My main complaint with the game would be that I found the combat to be too easy. It felt like it was added in as an after thought. My minor complaint would be me personally not liking the faces on the 3D models.

Şahsen ben bu tarz grafikleri çok tatlı bulurum, herkes sevmeyebilir. Hikayesini de beğendim. Daha çok şekillendirilebilirdi tabii ki, daha fazla mekanik de eklenebilirdi; oyundan ne beklediğinize göre değişir. Atlama zıplama gibi mekanikleri ben beğendim oyunda, sadece combat kısmını hiç sevmedim . Dövüşler daha güzel tasarlanabilirdi, düşmanlar da buna paralel olarak daha çeşitli olabilirdi. Oyunda dövüş kısmında biraz daha zorlanmak isterdim.

Great music, great traversal and the artstyle is quite pretty. Also the voice acting! I get major Caravan Sandwitch vibes which is always a good sign. I guess I'm a sucker for the cozy post-apocalypse. I got no performance issues whatsover, quite the opposite it ran very smoothly.

This game has a very clear vision for what it wants to do and fully accomplishes it. The game not only houses a very somber yet hopeful message to fight for the betterment of the natural world, but also integrates well thought out and interesting worldbuilding into its narrative core. I appreciated the risks that the game took in its tone, and thought that they grounded the story in a meaningful way. In a similar vein, the art in this game is spectacular and compliments the world well, and the gameplay, while sometimes choppy, still manages to feel smooth and fun in the right moments. I only wish that this game was longer in its gameplay length, and that it was priced cheaper for the length that it currently is; with the sales this game goes on, however, Wavetale provides an amazing experience on environmentalism and the latent change hidden in younger generations.

Jogo Indie bãozim... Tem uma estética agradável, uma historia bacaninha, e uma jogabilidade fluída. Cumpre com a proposta do jogo e rendeu quase 6h de jogo. Você platina o jogo só por jogar mesmo, e não precisa se sacrificar para isso. Minha única crítica ao jogo é que ele não tem desafio nenhum. É bem fácil mesmo, o que por um lado é bom, se você tiver filhos pequenos, é uma ótima pedida. Acho o preço inteiro do jogo meio salgado, mas em promoção, vale a pena.
