game WAS great when being actively developed but unfortunately the dev was run off the internet by losers online so it likely wont ever get updated again. sad to see really.

I know I'm super late to this but I found myself needed a relaxing gaming so I finally dove in past the original, like, hour I played when I first downloaded this and I've really discovered a gem. When I first got the game I quickly moved on as I was at a point in my life where I wanted games with a higher "tempo." That said, WEBFISHING has really filled a hole in my heart in the last week or two. There's a lot more depth, or, maybe, richness might be a better word, to this game. The cosmetics are cute, the price for everything including upgrades feels fair and well-paced, the sound effects tickle my ears, and it's hilarious when I catch a giant fish that takes up my entire screen. I'm always a big lover of "simple things done well" and WEBFISHING does exactly this with enough charm for you to keep a smile on your face as you fish.

Weebfishing es un juego chill en el que su idea principal es pescar e interactuar con la gente. Realmente fue un buen juego...la comunidad era amable y podias charlar tonterias sin mas, corretear por el mapa e incluso dibujar. Lo que pescabas lo vendias y con eso comprabas objetos para personalizar tu personaje y algunas mejoras o tags. Era un juego sin pretenciones, hecho para entrar, distraerte y conocer gente. La razon de la reseña negativa es que actualmente esta abandonado ya que su dev fue expuesto por algunos dramas y luego lo doxearon, haciendo que este desapareciera de internet y dejo el juego abandonado. Esto realmente no importaria tanto si el juego aun con sus mas y sus menos funciona, pero es que hay que advertir que este juego SIEMPRE tuvo problemas de seguridad, comenzando por el hecho de que se podia vulnerar tu IP. Esto fue corregido en su dia, pero aun asi constantemente recibia correcciones por algunos exploits al respecto. Como su estado actual es el abandono, NO RECOMIENDO ENTRAR NISIQUIERA POR CURIOSIDAD o bueno si lo haces que al menos seas conciente de esto. Me tome el tiempo de hacerle esta reseña por esa razon,ya que la comunidad hispana siempre fue minoria, por lo que abundan muchas reseñas en ingles advirtiendo de esto, pero no en español.

Webfishing is a super fun and wonderful experience! It's a super relaxed fishing and social game that has held some of my most enjoyable moments in gaming :3 Although, I *must* stress that the social aspect is very important. While the game is absolutely playable solo and is still quite enjoyable, the game is still an extremely fun and engaging chat room! While I mainly played with friends I knew, I did interact with the community quite a lot and had a very wonderful time, and I recommend you do the same :3 A little note! I'm writing this review as I just finished 100%ing the game, and it seems like the average completion time is about 100ish hours if thats something you care about

cozy chatroom chiller friendslop title cute retro art style you literally can't go wrong with character customization BEWARE THE GRINCHER it actually is such a shame what happened to this game... between the grinch-cident and the doxxing it's pretty evident that lamedev is never going to return to update the game... bummer... the game is legitimately very cute and a fun little game to keep running in the background while doing chores or sitting around on discord... i have a laundry list of things i'd love to see officially added (more fih/customization options, inventory management) but at least modding the game is easy since it's essentially dead in the water... :(

the goal in this game is not to catch fish but instead to just hope that you win big on the lottery ticket you spent all your money on. Then you lose and catch a fish to sell just to pay money for a lottery ticket and it repeats until you beat the game (by paying for everything using gambled money)

It's really sad that the creator was doxxed and harassed to the point of going into hiding and seemingly never coming back to this game again. It still has a small following behind it which honestly amazes me since I didn't think it last this long Although there isn't going to be another update to the game, it still has a place in my heart as a cute fishing game that in my opinion, is worth playing :)
