What else can you say except that it's the grandfather of FPS games? It is an old game but is definitely still gold! Would recommend getting this game as it is a two in one combo with you also getting access to the Spear Of Destiny game as well! Overall both of the games functioned as intended and the game was quite literally a blast to the past! If you need a comparison to what this game is like it is similar in gameplay to Doom with a twist on the enemy types you get as well as the maps being flat. Both of the games are pretty difficult and have mixtures of being able to stealth and go gun blazing through a level.

In 3.6 hours I finaly finished episode 1 dam near having an aneurism, very fun very good game but very and i mean VERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard on "Normal" mode. I strongly suggest you start on the easiest and second easiest modes if you are prone to raging. If you are planing to get this game I heavily suggest you purchase the package of Wolfenstein 3D, Wolfenstein: Enemy Terrirory, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein because it will be a lot cheaper to get the 3 in the package.

♥♥♥♥♥♥ лабиринты, а так круто. Особенно то, что когда после очередного поворота к тебе лезет в обьятия гав-гав-гав-♥♥♥-♥♥♥-♥♥♥ и швайне. Можно убивать нацистов, все локации в свастонах и Адольфах - минусов нет. Базированная игра, рекомендую любителям долго и кропотливо сидеть щуриться и собирать трофеи среди миллионов ходов. Видел лицо австрийского художника чаще, чем себя в зеркале

As someone who had not played Wolfenstein prior, if you are expecting Doom with a WW2 skin you are in for a rude awakening. The first 3 episodes are incredible no doubt, however the prequel levels (4-6) leave a lot to be desired. For the prequels it feels like they really upped the difficulty to the point of them being unfair at several points. The game was never shy from putting in mazes even in the first 3 levels but it really felt like in episodes 4-6 that became the primary theme. I especially found episode 6 to be an absolute chore to get through both due to confusing level layouts and frustrating enemy placement/layout. Another flaw of the game is the packaging. Put simply, the packaging is awful, it's just like how Doom used to be packaged before the unity port, which is to say that it uses DOSBox. DOSBox is a fine application but source ports for Wolfenstein exist which make the game vastly more accessible and gives plenty of quality of life feature improvements, I think Wolf 3D would be much better if it were packaged with a source port with DOSBox available as an option rather than vice versa. Ultimately this isn't a huge deal, there are tutorials for setting the game up with ECWolf and you can just copy the map files outside of steam and use ECWOLF but it's still ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Probably the largest flaw for most people is the lack of inclusion of the SoD lost missions. Spear of Destiny used to be on Steam but then they merged Spear Of Destiny with this release, the problem being that Spear of Destiny only has 1 mission in this release when the original contained 3 missions. That said, this does not bother me personally as I bought SoD before it got delisted so I have all missions. TLDR: Overall, Epsiodes 1-3 alone make the game worth. Episodes 4 and 5 are decent but flawed and Episode 6 is substantially worse and more frustrating than the rest of the game. And play on a source port.

Historia del shooting. Es un clasico que si bien apenas tiene los elementos basicos, realmente se me hizo muy divertido de jugar cuando le agarre la mano en la dificultad maxima y hasta el ir apretando espacio por todas las paredes existentes buscando muros secretos. Los laberinticos corredores que hay que transitar en sus mapas son tremendos, destruye una banda la percepción espacial y te perdes bastantes por momentos; y eso no ocurre en un shooter moderno. La expansión Spear of destiny lleva todo a otro nivel, la cantidad de enemigos, su distribución, los laberintos, los secretos; y el final jaja, se ve que le tenian unas re ganas al Doom ya.

Good game but saves are broken, tried saving on floor 3 and it sent me back to floor 2. Since this game is so long saving is pretty important, at least in my eyes. They should fix problems like this if the game isn't free

Wolf3D is the OG first person shooter and an important footstep in the genre. The game is still a ton of fun for a game this old and I highly recommend giving it a try.
