Finished Yakuza 0 and man, what a game. Combat was genuinely fun, especially with Kiryu and Majima having completely different styles. The story was the real highlight though. I liked Majima’s story more than Kiryu’s, especially his whole journey with Makoto. That ending honestly hurt knowing she never even found out what Majima did for her. Kamurocho and Sotenbori felt alive, and all the random substories, minigames and stupid side activities were the perfect break from the serious main story The way this game goes from making you laugh to emotionally destroying you is crazy. 10/10. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yakuza 0 — Finalmente entendi por que essa franquia é tão amada Comprei achando que seria um jogo de ação sério sobre a máfia japonesa. Saí depois de dezenas de horas administrando um clube de garotas, quebrando bicicletas na cabeça de criminosos, ajudando desconhecidos completamente malucos e chorando por causa da história. 10/10. Yakuza 0 é simplesmente uma experiência que não deveria funcionar tão bem quanto funciona. O jogo consegue alternar entre um drama criminal extremamente sério e emocionante para uma missão onde você está ajudando alguém com o problema mais absurdo possível. E o pior: as duas partes são incríveis. A história de Kazuma Kiryu e Goro Majima é facilmente uma das melhores coisas do jogo. Os dois protagonistas têm personalidades completamente diferentes, e acompanhar suas histórias acontecendo ao mesmo tempo deixa tudo ainda mais interessante. O combate é muito divertido. Você pode lutar normalmente... ou simplesmente pegar uma bicicleta, uma placa, uma cadeira ou praticamente qualquer coisa que esteja perto e transformar alguém em parte da decoração da rua. Os minigames também são perigosos. Você começa dizendo: "Vou jogar só uma partida de karaokê." Cinco horas depois: "EU PRECISO VIRAR O REI DO REAL ESTATE." A ambientação do Japão dos anos 80 é maravilhosa, a trilha sonora é absurda e Kamurocho parece um lugar vivo. Cada esquina tem alguma coisa acontecendo, alguém estranho para conhecer ou algum problema completamente aleatório esperando você. Sim. Se você gosta de jogos com histórias incríveis, personagens marcantes, pancadaria exagerada e missões secundárias que parecem ter sido escritas durante um surto coletivo... Jogue Yakuza 0. I’ll let you in on a little something. The yakuza game, it’s not like boxing. Came for the Japanese organized crime vibe; but stayed for real estate management, disco dancing, karaoke, dubious side characters, overkill fist fights, all and more wrapped up in one of the best video game stories ever. 10/10. There can only be one Dragon of Dojima.

I feel bad for any sane man who genuinely has to play this absolute waste of 50 DOLLARS FOR A GAME RELEASED MANY YEARS AGO. This isn't worth 50 dollars. The main issue is that "Director's cut" is just yakuza 0 if they spent a month ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around and adding an unfun, story-less mode to kill time. Don't buy the upgrade, and if you must play it, just acknowledge that this isn't even close to the value of the original at the time. This is just an excuse to charge 50 bucks for an old ass game and 15 for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ upgrade. The game itself is good but the 'additions' are not.

Yakuza 0 is a great game, Yakuza 0 is the definitive starting point. Yakuza 0 Director's Cut however is unnecessary bloat that replaced the original version on Steam for no good reason. Mandatory Chinese and English voice acting that forms part of the installation? That will be an extra few dozen gigs on your hard drive, baka-boy. While I am on the topic; If you play Yakuza in English you are an absolute tourist. It is because of people like you that we are now getting Tupac and Snoop Dogg in the RGG franchise. Please love yourself, NOW. As a person who has been a fan of this franchise since 2018 when I played Yakuza 0 for the first time on PS4 let me tell you one thing: You can do better than this version. Go on GOG, buy the original Yakuza 0 without the bloat and thank me later.

Played the original 0 nearly 8 years ago, and never got around replaying it, but I guess this was good excuse. At it's core, it's still the same, great game, but with some improvements. However there's still many annoyances that were in the original in my books. Some dialog boxes seem to be taking "forever" compared to others, and it just all in all still doesn't feel as fluid as you would want from a "remaster". I had to google to see which exactly were the additional cutscenes and there are some incredibly frustrating retcons, especially considering they have no effect on the future of the games. Still, despite the retcons, it's not bad. I'd like to recommend the original version above this though (due to the retcons), which you CAN still get from GOG apparently!

不愧为所谓最好的如龙系列最好的剧情，完全配得上这个称呼。人物刻画非常棒，大小势力关系尽管复杂，但叙事处理的很好，看下来完全没什么问题。后面几张高光爆点不断，完全停不下来，让人想一直看下去。 战斗部分撑得起叙事以及情感，热血动作让人眼前一亮。一直打主线过剧情基本没什么问题，算比较简单。

Really enjoyed the melee combat and the story. The combat felt satisfying, and the story kept me interested throughout. Overall, a really fun experience and definitely worth playing.
