This is the most relaxing game i ever played on steam. This game is realistic and open world your a truck driver delivery cargo across the USA and going through the states like in real life 10/10 game.

Recommended? Yeah, but... ATS is a very zen gameplay experience that I recommend heartily, with the admission that it is also not a very well made game. Rather, it is very lovingly made and over a span of a decade which, as you can imagine, accumulates issues. If you're a casual player, it's entirely likely that you may never encounter some of the more frustrating aspects of the game. But, if you're someone who buys all the DLC and participates in World of Trucks Events, certain aspects of the game are going to really test your patience. Chiefly is how much the game enjoys making you arbitrarily wait. American Truck Simulator? More like Always a Train Stopping you. Railroad crossings, intersections, weigh stations, etc... are all executed in a way as to make your play experience as tedious as possible. If I am taking a single lane exit from a highway and there are more than two tractor-trailers inline ahead of me, it is literally faster to save and reload the game than it is to wait for the AI to figure out how to make an unprotected right turn against zero opposing traffic. Consider for a moment that when you are summoned to a weigh station, every other truck on the road ahead of you will divert to get weighed. While you are parked there, waiting for entities who are not players who paid money to get not-weighed before they move on to their not-destinations, you can turn the camera around and notice that a truck will NEVER exit the highway AFTER you and queue up to get weighed. Is this because they can't reliably bring an NPC truck to rest behind you without crashing? Because the friction lies in making you wait before you can get back to the enjoyable bit of driving? Because this was the only way the developers could imagine to make the world feel lived in? The game is simultaneously too heartfelt and janky for you to ever be sure of the answer! There's this really cool thing the Devs have been doing for the last couple years which is using the DLC achievements to highlight specific industries in each state. This is really awesome stuff, the first time. A lot of these turn into grinding out 5 or 10 of the same delivery, which is considerably less fun. Multiply that feeling by a bunch when you're trying desperately to get the 4th or 5th delivery on a trip that is mystifyingly rare... YEAH I'M LOOKIN AT YOU, UTAH. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID. Speaking of the DLC, be careful which ones you buy. The states generally provide the best value, especially after they've had time to fix some bugs and discount the price a bit. Many of the gameplay "add-ons" are either purely cosmetic or don't function quite as intended, and often interact with the base game in weird and stupid ways. The heavy cargo pack introduces a bunch of oversized loads that are basically escort missions. If you've seen how the AI can behave in American Truck Simulator, the mention of an escort mission should immediately put you into a cold sweat. It is is a very cool feature when an NPC in front of you surreptitiously decides to drive off the road or slam on the brakes, instantly ending hours worth of your progress if you're not a neurotic saver. I suspect the problem comes from the fact that the Heavy Cargo pack is almost 10 years old now and the codebase for controlling other cars and trucks has changed considerably along the way. I've heard some talk from the devs about updates to older maps but I have no idea if they plan to fix any of this or if it will be one of those, "Whoops, looks like that will have to wait for ATS2" situations.

Об игре: Легендарные симуляторы грузоперевозок: American Truck Simulator и Euro Truck Simulator 2. Отзыв: Уже выставлял такой отзыв на игру ETS, и он не будет отличаться от ATS. По сути, ATS и ETS — это одна и та же игра с разным визуальным оформлением. Разница лишь в том, что в ETS более живописные городские пейзажи и чуть более динамичный экономический прогресс. Первые часы игры приносили удовольствие и ощущение реализма, но после десятка часов геймплей превратился в монотонную рутину. Главная проблема в том, что здесь нет чувства достижения. Покупка нового грузовика не приносит удовлетворения: ты «пашешь» несколько часов, чтобы получить машину, которая почти ничем не отличается от предыдущей. Игре отчаянно не хватает жизни: интересного сюжета, качественных кат-сцен и, самое главное, людей. Пустые, «мертвые» города усиливают чувство одиночества и делают мир картонным. Рекомендация: Хотя игра не оправдала моих ожиданий и быстро наскучила, я не могу не рекомендовать её. У проекта огромная база преданных фанатов, и, возможно, именно вы станете одним из них. 👍 Recomendado Se alguém me dissesse anos atrás que o ápice da minha diversão no PC seria respeitar o limite de velocidade em uma rodovia no Arizona enquanto levo uma carga de dinamites a mais de 80 km/h, eu diria que a pessoa estava louca. Mas American Truck Simulator prova que não há nada mais viciante do que a vida de caminhoneiro virtual. É o equilíbrio perfeito entre o relaxamento absoluto e o pavor repentino de tomar uma multa por esquecer de ligar o farol na chuva. A Experiência: Você liga o rádio, engata a marcha e simplesmente roda por estradas infinitas contemplando o pôr do sol. É a melhor terapia que existe para esvaziar a cabeça depois de um dia cheio. A Física e o Desafio: Dirigir em linha reta é fácil. O verdadeiro teste de caráter (e de paciência) é tentar estacionar de ré uma carreta dupla num galpão apertado sem moer o parachoque do vizinho. O Detalhes: A sensação de escala das cidades, os cenários das estradas americanas e o som do motor rodando macio fazem com que 2 horas de viagem passem parecendo 15 minutos. Se você quer ligar o pisca-alerta, ouvir uma boa música e dominar o asfalto sem pressa de chegar, este jogo é obrigatório.

我感觉美卡比欧卡的操作手感好多了，有个车头就是比没有车头好开，而且美国的高速路限速比欧洲高速路高很多，一辆美式长头重卡在高速上基本可以全程维持在100KM/H左右，大直道可以冲到120KM/H以上也不用担心被罚款，玩欧卡2高速路限速才80，跑的非常憋屈。最重要的一点是，欧卡2那个导航老是看不清走错路，美卡就没有这个问题，走哪条路都很直观清晰。尽管欧卡2的知名度和玩家数量比美卡高很多，但我还是强烈推荐美卡，操作手感比欧卡2好，跑的也比欧卡2爽，唯一点不足就是游戏本体带的地图有点小，只有加州，内华达州和亚利桑那州三个州，如果后续把美国其他州的DLC买全就玩的更爽了。

I been playing since the game came out. Got all the dlc,s ,love driving the US.My only gripe about the game is, it needs seasonal weather :)

American Truck Simulator is a relaxing driving sim that makes long-haul trucking surprisingly satisfying. The driving itself feels good, with decent handling, traffic, and a nice sense of progression as you take on better jobs and expand your business. The base game has plenty to enjoy, though the lack of DLC naturally limits the map.
