This expansion is included at Lord of Hatred DLC and even if you have this, there will be no discount at Lord of Hatred, which is not a reasonable choice. DLC was pretty expensive and right now it does not mean much. Since you need Lord of Hatred for endgame content, this DLC won't matter much. To be able to play the game decently you are going to need Lord of Hatred. To be able to do that, you have to finish the campaign of this piece of garbage. Citadel is a new dungeon, which are different and requires 2 players, but they are pretty limited and do not offer decent loot other than cosmetic grind. Mercenaries come with this DLC, which is great, but they should have been included with the base game. Also, you cannot use a mercenary, if you are in a party, which is meaningless. Another class is introduced, which should have been the part of the main game. Similar to the base game, side quests are boring as hell. Cutscenes cannot be hastened, while actors talk like they are getting paid by the time. Most urgent scenes go slow as ♥♥♥♥ for no reason. Similar to these, story is ♥♥♥♥. Basically, while world is ending, we watch a teenager girl's "slay queen" moments. Moments are not even impressive; they are just annoying and idiotic. Because the most important thing is being an independent woman. Other than that, Neyrelle is an absolute moron, characters are idiots and their deaths are meaningless. NPCs act like they are the important ones in the story, while doing nothing. If you can imagine something stupid, characters will do that, even if it is contradictory for their characters. You know why? Because there is no good or evil for the imbeciles that wrote this piece of ♥♥♥♥. Since the writers, or the marketing team, think everyone is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ like them, they write the characters as bland douchebags. Also, characters' motivations are changed for no reason at this DLC multiple times. Ending is the most unreasonable thing I've ever seen. For some reason, the good guy that help us all along (the one that spend his whole life fighting the evil), betray us and more importantly, his god. At the same time, that moron Neyrelle comes back to life without an issue from being possessed by the Mephisto himself.

Paid $70 for Diablo IV. Paid $60 for Vessel of Hatred. Locked out of 25% of game after a new DLC drops for another $60, that includes the DLC I bought for free. Not even a a discount offered to people who were scammed for buying Vessel of Hatred. I've already spent $130 to unlock the end game. I am not pushing that to $190 just to play the game that I have basically bought twice already. Might as well wait until the final DLC drops for this series as to not hit a $60 paywall every year.

Nunca mais compro nada desse lixo de empresa. para quem está por fora, quem pagou 150$ no jogo +150$ nessa dlc, foi lesado pela empresa, a nova dlc tem todo o conteudo dessa, quem comprou essa literalmente perdeu todo o dinheiro. E o jogo vai ser descontinuado.

傻逼东西买DLC2送DLC1我就不说了，原价买DLC1的再买DLC2还是原价，凭什么？暴雪后入网易换来的傻逼定价销售策略？老子真是操死你的妈，等你艰难决定并本体+全DLC捆绑包高于50元人名币之前，我不会再游玩你这个垃圾游戏，从此也不会购买任何DLC没有出完的暴雪游戏。傻逼东西，缺那点前给你妈买好点的棺材是吧。臭傻逼。

bem lixeira pois essa dlc n passou de um pedágio pra gente que comprou antes da lord of hatred (que é a segunda dlc do game). quem ja tinha pago 130 na primeira dlc nao ganha nada alem do beneficio de pagar em dobro pois só os veteranos vao ter q comprar duas dlc. blizzard vc é mt mercenaria

Hey folks, drop your reviews in English! Chinese complaints feel like mosquito bites to them—annoying but harmless. But an English review? That’s the real pain. Blizzard can’t ignore the global outcry! I purchased Vessel of Hatred at full price. When Blizzard announced Lord of Hatred, not only is it heavily overpriced, but it is only sold as a bundle that includes DLC1. There is no way to buy just DLC2. This is a terrible way to treat loyal fans. Players like me have to repurchase content we already own just to get the new expansion. This greedy sales policy has completely turned me against Blizzard.
