This is Fallout 4 (without DLCs) you can play in VR. That doesn't make it a worthwhile VR game. The main issue - there are VR visuals, but not VR interactions. The game still relies on regular menus and UI elements for everything. You can't just drop or "grab" weapons with hands - have to do it through pressing "pick up" UI button. You can't reload weapons by hand. You can't manually "put" something into your backpack or to "retrieve" something from it. A VR game is something like Alyx. Or Into the Radius. This is not it.

Its great, BUT the reason i rate it bad is because it REQUIRES mods to be fun. REQUIRES. i feel like bethesda should focus on their broken games more instead of releasing half baked rip offs. i love it modded but it really shouldnt be a game that costs $80, hell i dont even think it should cost anything. Bone stock, no mods, this game sucks. Just period it sucks. holding weapons feels awkward, you dont even have a body so what the hell is the point of the customization, and holding items feels like its trying to make u blend your headset. And yet its still $80 Spend your money on something better honestly, just dont bother with this. skyrim vr looks like more fun then this pile of trash.

obviously, base Fo4VR is a steaming godaweful pile of crap, we've all heard those reviews. we've also all heard how fun the mods can be, and yeah, thats true too. for me personally, i've never had any actual problems with the game, of course a couple crashes but thats just fallout 4, not fo4vr. ive never had it give me launching troubles, loading, none of it. with mods, and alright game, almost worth it if you can get it on a 75% sale

Okay this game requires extensive modding knowledge to even run properly. I'm not talking about booting and making the title screen appear. I'm talking about understanding what every mod you have in your loader does because that's required for this game to play like an actual VR game. It took me almost 3 days to mod this game to make it serviceable and now that it's done, it plays well. Perhaps one of the mods I installed made it a bit too difficult but I do have issues with the difficulty in this version of the game. The flatscreen version of this game is so easy that you can hand it to a 8 year old and they can beat it in literally a week. But the VR version seems much more difficult.

Sux, they spent literally 5 mins getting this ready for VR just to make a buck. And you are forced to stand while playing unless you want to be 2 foot tall. I would love a Post apocylyptic game in VR but this one is just bad.

I really wanted to like this game because Fallout is one of my favorite franchises. I bought it understanding it needed a cocktail of mods to be considered playable. I spent a whole day learning, configuring, and testing a community favorite modpack, but even then, the controls, movement, and UI was just too frustrating to be fun.

the performance was terrible and the gameplay was just as bad. they made this as a very quick port to get their foot in the door of the VR industry then literally made nothing else after Skyrim VR and FO4 VR.. both were cash grabs imo but Skyrim VR was so much better than this trash.

con le giuste mod diventa un gioco davvero di impatto, ma sicuramente non vale i 60 euro di listino. lo avrei pagato a prezzo pieno solo se avessero implementato davvero tutte le caratteristiche dei giochi vr, ma non ci sono e sono in gran parte risolvibili solo grazie ai modder.
