Very enjoyable fresh horror game where your only weapon is taking fashion photos of spirits. Very haunting game with an amazing atmosphere that is very creepy at times. Play with headphones, it's a must! Really dug the ghost mechanics getting grabbed at doors randomly (that build up) and them just teleporting around you to throw you off. Plot is solid, definitely read everything you pick up, which I enjoy games that reward you for doing so.

First off, the original game on Playstation 2 is one of my favourite horror games of all time. This remake involves the same disturbing story as the original. You control a pair of twins in Japan that stumble across a creepy village, and the village is full of ghosts. This game has a deep and engrossing story to discover. Gameplay involves exploring the village and battling / taking pictures of ghosts using a "Spirit Camera". Eventually you must find the source of the ghosts and a way to escape the village. The first run through of the game can take around 12-15 hours to complete. However, to achieve all endings and 100% the achievements, it can take up to 40 hours. Differences in this new remake: - Third person over the shoulder camera instead of the classic fixed camera perspective. - Faster gameplay and battles with dodging mechanic. - New side missions, more story lore and endings. - Lighter, more detailed environments. Positives: - Battling ghosts is as tense as ever. I welcome the new dodge mechanic. - The graphics are gorgeous. Ghosts look scary. Environments are highly creepy and detailed. Beautiful cinematography throughout. Amazing cutscenes. Grain filter can be turned off and on in the options menu. - Super creepy disturbing sound effects. Especially the gurgling and moaning noises of the ghosts. - The story is long, deep, interesting, beautiful, disturbing, it has it all. Negatives: - There is a minimap in the top right corner of the screen, and an item selector in the bottom left. These cannot be turned off at all, they are on screen at all times. This breaks immersion and drove me nuts, also considering I was using a brand new OLED monitor and was worried about Burn In. - The 100% of achievements is an absolute 25 hour insane grind fest, AFTER beating the game 6 times. Consider this: 264 Specres, 121 Documents, 71 Charms, 47 Hidden Dolls, 16 Convoluted Side Stories, 500+ beads to collect to fully upgrade your camera, it just goes on and on and on... - Some outfits are insanely priced and useless to achieve. By beating the game 6+ Times you still don't have enough points to buy them. By the time you can afford these outfits you are well over bored of the game. The outfits cost 3 Million Points (!) each. - The original Playstation 2 game feels darker, more atmospheric, and scarier. Overall an awesome remake, but try to ignore going for 100% achievements. For me, going for 100% achievements was actively ruining my love of the game. Overall: 9/10

Чи тримає цей ре-ремейк (перший був для Nintendo Wii в 2012, а оригінал вийшов на PS2) планку - мені здається що тримає, але звісно з деякими спірними осучасненнями, він менш складний (хоча на старті багато хто критикував гру за складність, розробники чують фанатів, але... фанати є різнимми). Це дуже атмосферна і красива гра, занепале японське село і дві перелякані японські школярки намагаються вижити в цьому пеклі з привидами. Так що зараз гра лякає атмосферою більше ніж складністю. Сюжет перерозповідати не буду, але можу сказати що канонічний фінал визвав такий самий бугурт як і Носферату Еггерса. Я напевно надто українець і скажімо так... Якщо зло отримає те, що бажає, Воно темрявою світ цей огортає! Не нагодує морок жертва невинної душі, Це не спасіння — жагу цю не згасить! Добре що в грі є і альтернативні фінали. Але так, сюжет класичний для японців в жанрі. Що призвело до написання одного твору, котрий такий собі мікс заходу і сходу. Ну а друга пісня для котрої я надихався цією грою, точніше фанатами, це бугурт деяких чуваків на старті через зацензурені труси у героїнь (і відсутність длц з бікіні). Тепер черга культури — відкриваю новий хіт, Але в Х-Твіттері в динаміті вже горить гніт! Комітет з інклюзивності вимірює декор, Щоб героїня в грі не викликала сором. Зменшили груди, закрили всі плечі, Бо полігонна сексуальність — небезпечні речі! А з іншого боку фанат крутить зум на екрані, І вивчає під лупою труси в напруженій пані! Де цензура?! Де труси?! (Схоже битви на тему цензури тепер переслідуватимуть KT в кожній їхній грі). Щодо геймплею - ми граємо за Міо Амакура (вона старша ... хоча Міо і Маю однояйцеві близнючки), 17 літньою панянкою котра під час прогулянки в ліс з сестрою (Маю) була затягнута в прокляте селище, з озброєння є камера Обскура, камера котра дозволяє виганяти привидів (а ще її можна апгрейдити) і є фільтри, їх в тому числи можна використовувати для вирішення загадок. Здебільшого доведеться шукати молодшу сестру Маю, бо привиди мають над нею владу (і плани на неї). Але коли вона поряд і Міо тримає її за руку, це відновлює здоров'я Міо. Можна визначити що дизайнери гри фанати лоліто-моди, при цьому їм вдалось її заміксувати з класичними японськими кімоно. Так що дизайнери виконали роботу на 20 з 10 PS. Controller support still has issues six months after release. I shouldn't have to unplug my keyboard dongle just to get any of my controllers to work with this game.

I'm not happy with the canon ending of this game because it's not a happy ending, but still I give this game a recommendation. It's very similar to Silent Hill f but you fight using a camera instead and there is less puzzle (obviously). If you like Japanese-style like Silent Hill f, you will probably (definitely) like this game too :) Story is good

Pros + Faithful to the last pixel on the different areas of the game comparing it to the OG. + New Combat Mechanics feel great and third person feels great too. + The horror aspects make you jump. + English voice acting is extremely well done Cons - Optimizations is not the best and the character movement feels snail pace slow. Had to seacrh up the game on PCGAMINGWIKI to download a fix to tweak things. - The characters emotionless faces feel like a missing puzzle piece to some cutscenes. - Too many charms in my opinion. This is everything I wanted from a remake for the game and I really hope we get a Fatal Frame 1 and 3 Remake and a Preserved version of the OG games on GOG and Steam. 10/10

挺好的。画面更细腻了，虽然我玩过零但还没玩过红蝶，但还记得很久以前看别人玩，很多升级很变化我不清楚。战斗部分很好玩，要比前作更倾向动作性，而且操作手感很不错的。鬼的种类和攻击方式也多了，有手很长的也有会连续攻击的，而且还有对视的机制挺炫酷的，总而言之就是更鬼模鬼样了。其中特别喜欢这个追逐战和清怪之间交叉的游玩体验，还感觉蛮丰富的，而且节奏更合适了不用担心一直跑图刷怪显得太拖沓。 如果一定要说可惜的，就是我最喜欢的最惊心动魄的捡道具简化了点，偶尔有保留，但大多数是直接拾取。每次在战斗中需要补给时，这样的简化真的很实在。不过这样的体验被开门杀的设计弥补的还算可以。 真的要吐槽的话，一个是优化问题，或者说光荣技术力的问题老生常谈了。确实画面更好了，但主角穿模、奇葩动作依旧频出。26年新游戏还是在小红书的古早风头像极速补货，可能这是风格特色，毕竟每个帖里必有零和DOA，不一定是技术力难绷（doge。但实在体验下来，像这样的画面还偶尔掉帧的水平真的无语。而且退出半天还卡着停止运行，如果不打算好好打磨优化，PC端适配真得再体贴点。不过我很希望光荣能保持你们的画面风格，真的蛮喜欢的，但是优化真的是要好好做。本来玩光荣的游戏也不是很多，但近年玩过优化最好的就一个真三起源了

Mon 1er Fatal Frame et quelle bonne expérience dans le folklore horrifique japonais ! Tout est là pour maintenir une tension presque permanente avec des jumpscares mieux fichue que la majorité des films d'horreur actuel. Le gameplay on dirait un RE ou un SH ou notre force n'est plus à balle reelle mais avec des photos et un appareil photo permettant de repousser les fantomes qui peuple ce village de mort Differents types de clichés ayant chacun ses avantages comme puissance ou cadence de cliché pour renvoyer ces fantomes en Enfer Mio est assez lente, le gameplay est à l'ancienne mais ça marche merveilleusement bien, il faut l'avouer Le jeu se passe dans un village japonais abandonné ou une force ancestrale cherche à sortir et qui était jusqu'alors prisonniere grace a des sacrifices sur des jumeaux (un mort physique pour un mort psychique ou inversement). Le dernier rituel ayant echoué nous voila avec notre jumelle plongé dans l'obscurité ou le danger peut etre partout, n'importe quand ! Le simple fait d'ouvrir une porte peut compliquer la vie :) Le scénario est bon et nous donne pleinement envie d'aller au bout de l'histoire Les graphismes sont tres bon et tres bien optimisé en 3240p full option ça tourne parfaitement et l'ambiance est vraiment reussi, les décors, les apparitions tout est là pour maintenir la pression sur Mio et sa soeur La durée de vie est correct, j'aurai aimé un peu plus long, comme à chaque fois ce sentiment est gage de bonne expérience C'est un remake et surtout un jeu de qualité, hate de découvrir les autres épisodes de la série 17/20
