used to play this game on phone when i was in high school, bought it on pc after the mobile version was unlisted for some reason it doesnt hold up well after all these years. i never realized how grindy the game is, the quests also suck because most of them are "go there, come back, also you'll get forced encounters along the way". having to reopen the map after the forced battles got tiring. additionally, having to drag to sell and equip items is terrible. this game really felt way better on mobile, idk why it was unlisted

Knights of Pen & Paper +1 is a fun and charming little RPG with plenty of good jokes and a nice tabletop vibe. The combat and character building are simple, but enjoyable if you like this kind of game. That said, it gets very grindy, especially if you’re going for 100%. The final dungeon achievement is particularly ridiculous – clearing 50 dungeons eventually just means running the same easy dungeon over and over again. Not difficult, just tedious and you usually get 5/50 in a normal playthrough. Overall, I had a good time with it, but it’s definitely a niche game and the grinding can wear you down. Worth playing if you enjoy old-school turn-based RPGs and nerdy humor, but I’d recommend picking it up on sale.

Some of the achievements are buggy, and you may find the launch option of, "./knightspp.x86_64" %command% to be helpful (include the quotation marks). There's also some grind, but it's reasonable so far to me. However, this is a fun game that's a love-letter to nerdom. Although it's rather simple thus far, it certainly isn't bad, and some times more can be less. At the price I bought it, I have zer0 regrets.

I did enjoy it a lot, really fun story if you pay attention, just wish the bugs would have been fixed. Really takes you out when you can't scroll your item list in battle because it just refuses. Looking forward to trying Knights of Pen and Paper 2!
