A DLC that contains more playable hours with a cool, new different skin (unchangeable), a new side character ally and beasts with slightly different outlook, but majorly different abilities. Okay, so I will keep this succinct, per point. It uses one of the same maps as in the base game but has the capacity to discover, kiII/brand as many sauron’s army captains and warchiefs as in the base game. You will also be met again with Torvin. More things that I have typed here will be information rich but could feel spoilerish, so I’ll hide them but I believe knowing information in this paragraph will NOT be experience ruining. Nevertheless, let’s begin. The main macro objective of this DLC storyline for the slightly appearance-changed Talion (Lord of the Hunt version) is to take down the Beast Master Warchiefs in Sauron’s army. The sooner you take them down, the better but you can take your time experiencing the new content in this DLC such as a new ability of branded Caragors to ‘stealth kill’. The ability of Graugs to spit acid-bile (or something) using the aim button (albeit, taking away your ability to aim and shoot wraith-arrows) and the other ability of mass spreading acid-bile infront of the graug instead of the base version graug’s ground slam button. The ability to brand Ghuls (and lots of them) and use them to raid a stronghold and use them offensively or defensively if you can (this all sounds fun, right!?). Also, you can find Ghul nests and trigger them out. Even after you take down all the beast masters, you can roam the map experiencing the different new elements, collect wraith world lore content (easy to find). Oh! And the Caragors have this new attack-streak derived ability called ‘Blazing Steed’. It’s cool, trust me. It does significant damage vs those beast master captains as well who barely take any damage vs beasts, but you still need to be careful around them while on Caragors. These were the elements that really give this DLC storyline any meaning. The rest of the mechanics and elements are as found in the base game. And there are several side-missions as well. Let’s talk about the new unchangeable skin in this DLC, the look of Talion as Lord of the Hunt. There’s a guerilla look with bIack face paint, his hair tied behind his head and some change in clothing. Significantly more badass. You can switch to this skin to play the base game if you please and can swap it out to another skinor the base skin as you wish whenever you want. Idk why the DLC page doesn’t even bother showing pictures of the skin. That’s just lazy showing from WB.
