Might & Magic 10 is a M&M game in name only, it has absolutely none of the soul or charm of the series and is nothing but another lazy and uninspired game from Ubisoft. The only reason to buy this would be to get M&M 6: the Mandate of Heaven, which is a fantastic if dated game. Really if you want to scratch your M&M itch or are simply looking to play an older style RPG go buy 6, 7 or 8 on GoG for dirt cheap. They all work perfectly out of the box and you don't have to deal with that bloatware Ubisoft launcher.

I purchased and played this back when it was initially released, never finished it, i do remember getting an email directly from Ubisoft asking why I had stopped playing, which was strange. I have tried to replay the game recently many times, I re-installed on windows 11, windows 10 and even Ubuntu and no matter what, the game wont let me save the current game. I tried asking for help from ubisoft and they closed the ticket with no resolution, i tried asking for help on the forums both steam and ubisoft and got no help.

MM3 was one of my first forays into grid-based dungeon crawlers. I played it when it was released and finished it several times back then. Just really enjoyed it. The theme burned into my synapses. I can still recall it anytime. I also enjoyed 4 and 5, combined into World of Xeen. That, too, is a timeless classic for me. MM6 went 3D with the environments and it lost quite a lot of it's charm. I still played it, but didn't quite enjoy it all that much. I never got into 7,8, or 9. I kept going with other titles like Lands of Lore and the various D&D dungeon crawlers. When MMX came it I was intrigued by the premise and the design. I didn't really expect all that much. But I was surprised to find even my low expectations not met at all. Coming off of Baldur's Gate IV, which isn't perfect either, but is extremely atmospheric and get's a lot of the mood and feeling right that made early dungeon crawlers enjoyable, MMX just feels completely flat. There is no magic, not in the enchanting kind of way, and I certainly never felt mighty at any point of the 11h I put into it. I can't help but wonder - what's the point of making this game? It lacks heart and soul and any understanding of what MM is about. I can only assume this was a cash in to use the IP. Typical UbiSlop. I just can't motivate myself to keep going. It's just such a soulless grind. Too bad. What would I give for a MM 3-5 inspired modern retro take - or a respectfully done remaster.

Je recommande ce jeu. Fidèle à la saga avec des nouveautés et des changements. J'ai commencé la saga à partir du 6 puis le 7 pour Le Sang et l'Honneur, qui est le meilleur de la saga avec le 8 . Le 9 est aussi bien, mais comme le 10, les changements ne sont pas à mon goût ; je pense qu'il fallait rester sur les fondamentaux comme le 6.7.8 qui sont les meilleurs de la saga. Il faudrait faire un remake de la saga, soit avec le même mode de jeu en monde ouvert, soit essayer de changer le gameplay et de le transformer de la même manière que Final Fantasy X ou 12 et toujours en tour par tour.

Unfortunately, this game doesn't carry on any kind of legacy. I've been playing the series since MM6, and I still can't figure out what's wrong with this game.

el juego esta bien. ni de cerca el mejor might & magic. PERO EL LAUNCHER DE UBISOFT... un día vas a querer jugar y no vas a poder. no vuelvo a comprar un juego de Ubisoft.

After trying to give might and magic 6 the mandate of heaven a try, I was so disspointed. I vowed never to play any of these games. But recently I got this MMX legacy, and I'm surprised at it... I'm giving it a shot, and it seems to be alright. It'll never be Xeen, but I figure until I can get more ram and a better video card to play Veilguard, this will do quite nicely. It is what it is... as long as that it isn't what it isn't. I will jump the gun and say i'm a fan once again.

I like the fact that when a area is cleared, creatures do not respawn when revisiting the area
