My review intends to serve as a warning for achievement hunters looking at the cheap price tag for NFS 2015 when it goes on sale at a deep discount. I do NOT recommend NFS 2015 to achievement hunters looking for an easy racing game completion due to the achievement 'Gold Plated' which asks the player to get a gold rank in all prestige events. There are FORTY prestige events and to get gold you need to play nearly perfect using the best car in the game for racing and drifting. The problem lies in how many random variables that can occur to ♥♥♥♥ over a perfect run of an event including but not limited to random NPC cars, slight wall taps registering as high speed crashes, broken physics, etc. On top of these variables, the game is always online and when a race is complete, the server needs to verify whether you've crossed the finish line or not. This causes races to finish anywhere from 0.5-1.0 seconds later than they should which resulted in me being cheated out of gold stars more times than I could count. Stay away from NFS 2015 if you were hoping for an easy completion.

Perhaps the best available NFS on Steam? It may not replace the love i have for NFSMW2005 or NFSU2 but it's still far better than the other NFS games that came after in every aspects of Gameplay, Story and most specifically Visual Quality and optimization. NFS Heat was good in terms of driving system and customizations but graphic and optimization were horrible. Oh ... and the story and soundtracks... specifically the soundtrack ... it makes one want to vomit. And NFS Unbound seem to have anime stuff. So i tend to avoid playing it. The only weakness i can tell is always requiring Internet connection even if you’re solo.

DLSS5? what's that? Rating: 7.5/10 This game is a great example of Style over Substance. GOOD: [*]Graphics are incredible. It is timeless! Next-gen. [*]Liked the cars and easy handling, after tolerating few inconveniences. [*]Cars have decent customization and upgrades, and most of them can be tuned to Drift or Grip with just a single easy slider. [*]Story cutscenes are live action videos seamlessly infused into the game world & they were very impressive. [*]Personally loved the cast and their very very dramatic acting, even though they spoke a English language I didn't understand lol. [*]Main story difficulty: Below medium. Once you buy high speed car, it's unlikely to lose even after crashing few times. BAD: [*]Can't pause. [*]Online only game. Multiple server maintenance forced me to quit game again and again. Server shut down possible and hence an unknown expiry date! [*]Some races are horribly designed.. like Drift with your AI crew. They gonna randomly accelerate/deaccelerate causing crashes and look really stupid while you are forced to match their speed. [*]Collision Bug - Car crashes randomly upside down when in contact with road railings side by side! [*]Handling Bug - Invisible forces unknown to mankind randomly steered car opposite to the direction it should be going.. often leading to totally unexpected crashes! Don't know somehow it got resolved in later part of the game. If using controller, you will likely needTHIS FIX. [*]Audio Bug - Can't hear the damn music. Game volume too low. Volume FIX here. [*]Police are TOTAL JOKE, they can barely catch up once you acquire a half decent car in first few hours. [*]Hero (you) is dumb and can't speak for himself. Only sound he ever made in life has to be claps and fist bumps! [*]Almost every cutscene and phone calls felt like - hey yo yo yo wasup man we cool right, yeah we cool as pump. LOL. It would be unfair to say I didn't enjoy them, cuz I actually did but nothing really came out of it as a story. You are likely not going to enjoy this game if you can't tolerate some flaws & apply few essential fixes. Otherwise it's still worth checking out IMO. I don't feel it's as bad as mixed reviews suggest here. Just make sure to use Brake + Handbrake with car tuned to slightly Drift so you can avoid railings.

I don't know where to begin with this one, at first i was thinking how on earth do people consider this game good? and is it a joke in the community because of how ass this game handles? There is a plethora of issues with this game. Just to name a few: 1. The broken physics and handling. 2. The 30 minute server disconnect warning on every boot up. 3. The insanely long loading screens. 4. Always online. 5. The AI attempting to assassinate you at every opportunity. 6. The unbearable cutscenes. 7. Finally, The impossible requirements for prestige mode. At first launch i had to unbind every key, reconfigure my controller, and edit the config to unbind buttons that clash together because the game devs apparently cant be asked to fix such a simple issue. Secondly, around 20-30 hours in my initial thought was, oh its not too bad, its manageable, yet i proceeded to get hard stuck on a few prestige events. Some took hours, others i wanted to tear my hair out because of. Honestly, i cant even say i hate it as much as i thought i did after putting in all this effort into prestige, and after i saw that gold plated pop up, i realized i had enjoyed the challenge. Quem gosta de um joguinho de corrida arcade e não se importa muito com história provavelmente vai aproveitar bem o NFS 2016. A coisa aqui é o que sempre foi: um joguinho de corrida arcade. O visual é muito bom, assim como as músicas, e o jogo é leve para rodar em PCs de entrada, mas há alguns pontos negativos, sendo o principal ser Always Online, quando desativarem os servidores, e vão, não terá como jogar a menos que alguém da comunidade crie um mod para isso. Já houve uma época em que eu gostava de simplesmente pegar um Need for Speed e jogar, mas hoje esse tipo de jogo não me interessa tanto. Ainda vou jogar outros títulos da franquia que comprei para ver se algum consegue me reconquistar, principalmente por não serem Always Online, algo que não gosto em nenhum jogo que tenha modo single-player. Recomendo os jogos da franquia pelos preços que atingiram na promoção mais agressiva. Peguei vários com 90% de desconto, incluindo este, que ficou por R$ 8,90. Não recomendo comprar vários de uma vez, como eu fiz, a menos que realmente goste de jogos de corrida arcade. Observações Crashes da Engine: A engine pode causar crashes em placas de vídeo com overclock. Caso ocorra o erro "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" ou algo similar, basta ativar o Debug (modo de depuração) no Painel de Controle da NVIDIA, na opção "Ajuda". Caso use uma placa AMD, acredito que seja tranquilo resetar o clock para os padrões de fábrica pelo MSI Afterburner. Sem Borderless: Não ter modo janela sem bordas é meio chato depois de tanto tempo acostumado com Borderless. Legendas em Português: A Steam informa que o jogo não possui legendas em português, mas possui. Carregamentos: Loading para tudo > entrar e sair da garagem, entrar e sair de um evento... É carregamento o tempo todo. Falta de Pausa: Não existir pausa é uma merd4, porque sempre preciso parar para fazer alguma coisa e não posso simplesmente pausar essa porcaria, mesmo jogando sozinho (efeito de ser um Always Online). Modo Single-Player Escondido: O jogo permite jogar em modo single-player, até aí já é de conhecimento geral. O problema é que você precisa entrar no jogo e, já dentro da garagem, ir até as configurações para selecionar a opção para um jogador, que está meio escondida. Poderiam colocar isso logo no menu inicial, até porque o jogo possui muitos carregamentos.

Пропустил этот шедевр на релизе и решил попробовать перед выключением серверов. Сюжет. Тут его нет, по классике. Видео-вставки с актерами смотрятся очень кринжово, куда достойнее это все реализовано в MW 2005 и Carbon. Управление. Аркадное, пойдет. Всегда любил части NFS с аркадным управлением. Машины. Автопарк скудный, можно было добавить и побольше. Любое дешевое авто можно прокачать до уровня самых дорогих, а то и лучше. Есть продвинутый стайлинг, можно заморочиться и сделать крутую обтяжку для авто или повторить что-нибудь из культовых вариантов. Гонки (сюжетные и обычные события на карте). Трассы часто повторяются, но затянуло, так и хотелось регать одну за другой. Было несколько и более сложных заездов. Гонки (престиж и speedlist). Speedlist - это сетевой режим, где на выбор есть три списка гонок: грип, дрифт и смешанный формат. Сейчас этот режим мертв по понятным причинам. Престиж - это заезды повышенной сложности. На дрифте я просто дропнул идею как-то все это пройти. Можно было сделать полегче, особенно молчу про золото, которое нужно получить для достижения. Тут можно совсем возненавидеть игру, потому что почти 60% успеха зависит от удачи. Игра очень любит спавнить ботов прямо по единственной траектории движения. Саундтрек. Слушать нечего, только два нормальных трека: один в гараже из старого Hot Pursuit, другой в заездах из MW 2005. Итог: 6/10. Если закрыть глаза на получение достижений и отсутствие саундтрека, то играется неплохо. Можно пройти сюжет, покататься по карте и даже получить удовольствие.

Bom jogo, mas falta muita coisa. Muitas decisões que simplesmente não fazem sentido nenhum. Por exemplo: 1. Não dá pra visualizar o carro antes de comprar, mostra apenas uma imagem do modelo. 2. Não dá pra mover a câmera enquanto compra uma peça visual do carro, a imagem fica parada em um angulo específico, mesmo que você esteja comprando uma peça que altere simplesmente todo o carro (como um body kit). 3. Se você compra um body kit e esse kit vem com uma peça, você não pode alterar aquela peça sem tirar o kit completo. Por exemplo, mudar só a parte do capô ou spoilers do carro. O sistema de polícia não parece funcionar direito, nas missões que envolvem fugir durante x tempo da polícia eu precisei dirigir MUITO devagar simplesmente pra polícia não me perder de vista, é MUITO FÁCIL mesmo fugir, não tem risco nenhum de ser preso. Tem uma missão em que um personagem pede que você fure 2 bloqueios policiais, e eu simplesmente nunca encontrei bloqueio nenhum. Acho que a polícia estava de greve enquanto eu jogava.

Just finished this game. Visually, aestheticaly and graphically one of the best looking Need For Speeds of all time. But that's about it. The event types are pretty good. The biggest problem in this game is the handling and the environment itself. Sometimes, the car doesn't wanna go the way I want it to go. The car immediately roles over when I hit something even at slow speeds. Walls are your biggest enemies. It's like magnets with same poles repelling each other. Traffic cars are randomly spawning in front you (it's been a thing in a lot of NFS games). Crash cams are aweful(Unbound did it best) and you lose a lot of positions becuase of that. Cops are awful and it felt like this game didn't need cops anyway. Always online is terrible (I sometimes hit or get hit by other online racers while doing an event). Frequent Server maintenance is annoying. The story is pretty average and after I completed it, I felt like "why did I do this?". Like the story felt like nothing's happening and something's happening at the same time. I thought Unbound's handling was bad but this game's handling is without a doubt the worst one out of them all, Glad Payback improved upon this handing.
