I had a lot of hopes for Pax Dei but looks like they hit a dead end. Monthly subscriptions to a game with a dead end grind is probably just not the way to go. Give everyone 30 days to log in to keep their plot and at least double the size of the free plot. All your crafted items are for the birds, ironically they added birds now. The game is beautifully crafted and the details to the damage to the armor is amazing. This game needs a developer that knows how to do more than use AI to update old assets. It needs missions, dialogue, traveling npcs to fill the trails as well as bring their own caravans to player builds to shop for items for their journey. Instead the developers thought hey look at this stone and trade everyone wirelessly in medieval times. Trade for what? Useless items if you have already done the dead end grind.

Es ist KEIN Pay to Win. Man muss nichts kaufen, man bekommt ein Grundstücksplot geschenkt, den man monatlich mit Gnade verlängern kann, welche man durch ingame Gold bekommen kann. (Taste H und dann Taste X) Die Grundstücke können auch easy umgesetzt werden, also was dort in den Rezensionen geschrieben wurde ist schlichtweg falsch. Wenn man mit mehreren im Clan spielt kann man auch so ein riesen Grundstück bekommen - kostenlos, ohne ♥♥♥. Es ist total schön, alles bauen zu können, die Bauten von anderen zu sehen und das alles von Spielern selbst erstellt wurde. Es ist absolut Grindlastig im Bezug auf Farmen und Craften, aber ich liebs. Die Belohnungen durch das aufsteigen auf höhere Waffen zbsp machen das wieder wett.

Gra jest świetna, ale moim zdaniem szybko umrze. Mechaniki są całkiem niezłe. Jest mnóstwo do zrobienia, nauczenia się czy zwiedzenia. Niestety twórcy oszaleli. Bulisz kasę za samą grę, poświęcasz mnóstwo czasu na naukę różnych specjalności, budujesz dom i stawiasz wszystkie narzędzia/stoły/meble...i po 30 dniach tracisz wszystko. A jak chcesz to odzyskać musisz kupić sobie premium albo żeton. Bardzo mi przykro, że tak to rozwiązano. Jedna działka powinna być tylko twoja na zawsze, a więcej działek możesz sobie dokupić w razie potrzeby. Wątpię żebym wróciła do tej gry, bo nie mam zamiaru co miesiąc tracić dodatkowej kasy.

So I bought the game after playing a demo. Played fora few hours got bored, uninstalled. Just installed it again after 6 months away to see what changed. Started a new character but now I can't claim a plot, the game wants me to spend more money for a token. Yea F that. Pure greed, no thank you!

My friend introduced me to this game. It was not one I actively found and looked into. Most of you know how these stories go, oh play this awesome game with me.... a week later the regret is real. Well not with this game. From the moment I tried the 7 day trial and walked into the beautiful game world, I was hooked. I was told this is a slow grind game, and after getting a foot hold in the game I do agree with that statement. It is a rewarding pay off to every grind though. You can level up, everything! You go out to fight? you're leveling something, combat, armor, healing... You go out to gather? You're leveling up something. You start crafting, you're leveling up something. Sounds like the familiar formula, but the dopamine hit is real anytime I level up and unlock new recipes. If you are not a fan of gathering and crafting everything to proceed on your journey you might find the game overwhelming and a struggle at first. But there is no need to despair, adventurer. The community I've encountered in this game, so far, has been amazing and honestly eager to help or guide me in the right direction. The Building and Construction. Oh. My. God. When my friend told me everything is player created I had memories of Minecraft or Fallout 76 and my expectations became based on previous games such as those. Boy, was I wrong. You see that bridge connecting those two islands? Player built that. See that HUGE MASSIVE CASTLE? So big its shadow covers the valley? Yeah players built that too. See that square block of rock with a single, crappy stool sitting on it? I BUILT THAT! BOOYAH!!! I know that might feel depressing to some, but when I look at my crappy starting plot. . . and then gaze upon the wonder and beauty that can await me. . . I find hype, I find inspiration! I find the need to unlock that next recipe so that in time, I too, can carve my mark upon this world for others to gaze upon at the beginning of their journey.

Sad to say I got suckered into this game by friends. It was cool for about 3 weeks. Then all my interest... died. The grind is punishing when you can't even have a permanent plot. Subscription service based games like this are a time and money graveyard. Skip this title. Don't let the visual effects fool you. It's dead inside and out.

Pax Dei was great when it first hit the playable version... Seems like developers lost their plan as the game has evolved... It's fun, but it's nothing special anymore.
