An underrated gem. SOTD didn't get the attention and love it deserved when it first released though I'm hoping it finally will with this release. The game has so much personality; an unhinged wild ride from start to finish with some of the funniest (and admittedly immature) dialogue you'll hear in a game. One criticism I do have is the aim sensitivity. I think it's really high (I play on controller so I'm not sure about keyboard and mouse) and other players might need to experiment with it, but other than that, SOTD is a great time and worth diving into if you want something crazy and unique.

I am SO glad that one of my most favorite games from the PS3/X360 era finally made it to the PC. Shadows of the Damned is a weirdly insane, stylish horror-action from the crazy mind of Suda51. With lots of references to horror movies and games, like Evil Dead and Resident Evil; nice adult humor; and loads of blood, gore, and demons. The music is written by one of my favorite composers, Akira Yamaoka, who wrote music for the Silent Hill series. And it rocks. I just love this bizarre game. The only disadvantage is the PC port itself. It turned out to be very lazy work. Imagine no graphics settings at all! The only things you can change in settings are volume, sensitivity, and language. Sometimes the camera is not following the protagonist in dynamic moments. At least the game runs well and is not crashing. But even though the PC port is not that great, it's cool that the game is not locked on PS3/X360 anymore. Always glad to replay this masterpiece; it always brings me back to good-old times. 9/10, MAGNIFICO!
