Rockstar attached their crappy launcher to the launch of the game. It is tied to an email that is no longer in use and now I can no longer play the game. I have tried to dispute it straight to Rockstar and they said I can't prove I ever owned that email log in. I am now out a truly good game because Rockstar has a crappy launcher.

DOWNLOAD FUSIONFIX FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE ON PC Max Payne 3 belongs to that weird trend of violent games that attempt to subvert the cliche of heroic gun toting action heroes that you saw a lot during the X360/PS3 generation (Bioshock, Spec Ops: The Line, arguably you could also put GTA4 and Red Dead Redemption in the same category). Hell, Kane and Lynch 2 predates this game by two years, and the two games share a lot of similarities in terms of how they deploy distorted visual effects and abrasive noise music to punctuate the action. The big difference is that, while i have a soft spot for K&L2, Max Payne 3 is so much better to play. In fact, it's my favorite third person shooter. MP3 feels so slick to play. Even though it's a cover based shooter, the game doesn't compromise on speed and intensity. If anything, the cover mechanics perfectaly compliment the bullet time and shootdodging that Max Payne is know for. You get constantly swarmed and pinned down, but it never feels frustrating, especially since everything moves so fast. And then you add in the presentation. Rockstar's character animation prowess is on full display. There's nothing better than watching your enemies stagger around realistically when they get shot, especially when you get a slow-motion kill cam. The soundtrack by HEALTH is amazing. I love every single blast of noise and feedback they add to the score, and TEARS is an undisputed masterpiece. The only place where the game slightly falls short is the narrative. In hindsight, wrapping that sort of subversive action story onto Max Payne probably sounded better than the actual reality - there's only so long you can hear Max's self-deprecating inner monologue about his failings and decent into mindless murder before it becomes grating. The attempt to also link Max's Brazilian Rampage to the history of American imperialism in South America also leaves a lot to be desired (especially since the game does not exactly paint Brazil in a glowing light, though I'm not gonna comment on how accurate or fair the representation is.) That being said, It's still a compelling narrative to watch unfold, and the concept of an american fall guy being too chaotic to be controlled is a really good one. Despite my minor gripes with the plot, I absolutely love MP3. It's one of Rockstar's best games. Hell, it deserves to be bought considering it was Rockstar's first good PC port, and it runs very well on my Lenovo Legion Go S. In short, play it.

back when MP3 got released, i wasn't a big fan of it, because of the graphical changes and modern style. to this day i prefer MP1&2, but now i appreciate MP3 way more and even have a lot of fun playing it. maybe because the modern gaming industry sucks, or maybe... nah the first one is it, for sure. i mean you start the game, you hear james mcCaffrey and you feel right at home. (rest easy legend) the game works fine out of the box on win 11, but you still should use the well known fusion fix and maybe the fov changer if needed. game looks good, plays fine and smooth and it now also gives me that oldschool feeling, like 1&2 did 2012. gosh i hope remedy doesn't ♥♥♥♥ up the remakes... one of the last good studios left. let's hope for the best. cheers

Gameplay : ABSOLUTE VIDEOGAME Gráficos : Cinema História : Absolute Cinema - A Rockstar conseguiu entender, adaptar e melhorar/expandir um personagem e histórias maravilhosos já canetados pela Remedy Trilha Sonora : Absolute Musica Defeitos : Dublagem de NPCS BRs Péssima principalmente coadjuvantes importantes, que felizmente não tem muito tempo de tela. Faltou um pouco de estudo no sobre o brasil, São Paulo parece mais o Rio de Janeiro Pontos em destaque : Apesar de não ser a melhor representação do Brasil em termos de caracterização de personagens e dublagem, a ambientação é divina, os cenários são 1 pra 1 e alguns personagens são dublados por atores brasileiros(atores esses que nem se conhece o currículo) como o próprio Neves que tem um inglês do nível Head&Shoulders. A trilha sonora dialoga perfeitamente com a gameplay, sendo uma mistura de bossa nova, samba e MPB. Tanto as musicas licenciadas quanto as compostas para o game feitas pela banda Health. Destaque para The Girl, It's Drive or Shoot e Tears que é basicamente a redenção e aceitação do Max, que passou os 3 jogos vivendo esses 5 estágios do Luto. A gameplay é simplesmente top 3 gameplays de jogos de tiro já feitos pela Rockstar, sendo uma mistura de comandos de jogos em primeira pessoa com alguns aspectos de GTA 5 e Red Dead Redemption, com o delicioso sistema de radgoll da euphoria e o bullet time completamente refinado, com capsulas e cartuchos sendo renderizados em tempo real, que voce pode ver detalhadamente, gore extremo e brutal, expressões facial MUITO a frente de seu tempo. É simplesmente prazeroso e relaxante jogar este jogo, tanto no controle, mas no mouse e teclado é a experiência definitiva. Top 3 Melhores Jogos da Rockstar Games.

There is no other game with better shooting mechanics than Max Payne 3. Combine them with fluid movement that allows you to slow down time, dive and jump, and you've got a recipe for a shooter unlike any other. Not to mention the fantastic euphoria ragdolls and Rockstar's game engine. Shooting bad guys has never, ever, felt so rewarding. There is barely anything to complain about with this game. While the story and characters in the first two games are memorable and have excellent writing, I wouldn't say the same thing about Max Payne 3. The story is ok I guess, but the characters are just so bland and I honestly don't care about any of them. James McCaffrey's performance as Max is perfect, no question, but the character of Max is completely different from the previous two games. It's not the same guy. He is a wreck of man, constantly getting angry, swearing and not caring. The polar opposite of the Max we know and love. I do understand it was done to show his progression to become a better man at the end of the story, but I still wish they would've toned him down a bit. I won't say much about the Soundtrack as this review would be way too long. In short - it's incredible, especially 'Tears' and 'Combat Drugs'. Nevertheless, it's my favorite third person shooter. A required must-play.
