The huge Sonic fan in me is going to bring myself to beat this game, but know that I absolutely hate it. The movement inconsistent, every level introduces a brand new mechanic that's unfun, difficult to control, and that'll be forgotten by the next act. Every character, location, or object invented for this game is bland and uninteresting. It tries to copy the Mario Galaxy games aesthetically, but fails miserably because it doesn't understand what made those games looks so gorgeous. The story is horrible, the music is fine but for Sonic's standards it's horrible, it's just a bad game. If you're a REALLY big Sonic fan, I'd say get this game when it's dirt cheap on sale just for completionist sake, and so that you can understand who Zavok is since SEGA insists on bringing him back in every single new game. But if you're just a pretty big Sonic fan don't bother, and if you've never played a Sonic game before, then DO NOT BUY THIS. Go buy Sonic X Shadow Generations and Sonic Mania instead, those games will show you why people love this franchise way better than this sorry Super Sonic 3D World + Zavok's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Up Level Design ass game ever could.

Managed to 100% the game fairly easily. Was pretty fun but the controls were bad sometimes.

Un mario bros/mario galaxy à la sauce sonic qui marche étonnement bien je trouve. Le jeu est beau et fluide en 60 fps. Une durée de vie de 15h (pour le 100%) et une formule différente de la formule boost. Plus axé sur la plate-forme et la gravité (qui peut rappeler mario galaxy). Le jeu n'a ni les ambitions et qualité d'un triple AAA comme sonic generation ou adventure mais en tant que petit jeu complémentaire il passe bien je trouve. Le jeu est très simple dans ses mécaniques et sa DA mais ça ne veut pas dire qu'il n'a aucune qualité. J'aime beaucoup le principe de la course sur les mur qui permet de garder le rythme. L'usage d'un bouton pour sprinter est un peu perturbant au début mais on s'y habitue assez vite. Je vous conseil de d'abord de faire le jeu en ligne droite avant de vous lancer dans le 100%. Je vous le recommande bien plus que l'immonde sonic colors. Le seul gros point négatif est son prix beaucoup trop chère mais le jeu est trouvable en promo à 5€.

While this is a "fun" game, it is not a good game. The movement feels stiff and hard to control, the levels are boring and uninspired while also trying too hard to be like Mario Galaxy. There are multiple times the new wallrunning mechanic could have been used, however they choose to add arbitrary springs and dash panels to make the game easier. i think the wallrunning mechanic had real potential but they were seemingly too afraid to actually let you use it, because there is only straight hallways where it can be useful, which it never really is useful. there isnt much else i can say that hasnt been repeated ad nauseum in anyone elses review. Also achievements for this game are seemingly broken as i finished the game 100 percent and got No trophies outside of a few at the beginning. I do not recommend this game if you arent a sonic fan or even if you are. Please buy Sonic Adventure or Sonic x Shadow Generations if you want to enjoy a sonic game.
